This amp began smoking shortly after install. I took it to a an audio expert and he said it was built poorly. It often over heats and blows fuses.

I would recommend this amp to any one. It delivers a tremendous amount of power, for the money. I Have this amp pushing two 12" inch Orion Xtr Subwoofers, an it is pushing them out of the water. The Bass Knob is a bonus. The Amp never gets hot, and there is no need to bridge it. I fell in love with this amp in seconds.

I have had this amp for a good minute now, and it has worked great so far. I am pushing three mtx 10" , and it quakes my car apart . Good for anyone who is not trying to spend everything they have to get there car sounding good.

This amp is great for some one trying to make due on a budget, but don't want to install trash in their car. Doesn't do rated power, but gets close and retains good sound quality. Crossovers are pretty effective and work well. For the price, you can't beat it. I was using this amp for mids, and not for bass.

overall the amp is a great amp 2 the price i have it pushing 2 kenwood 12's in a ported box and it does the job. i plan on upgrading to the fx2-1800 very soon.
