Champion Series PRO: Powerful by Design
Introducing the series that changed the way Pioneer makes subwoofers: The Pioneer Champion PRO Series. The patented technologies behind the PRO series of subwoofers bridge the gap between quality bass and an affordable price. They feature an air suspension system that creates a spring-like effect and a compressed air chamber within the subwoofer. The result is powerful, deep bass. They are developed to utilize the air space surrounding the subwoofer so that they can be installed in smaller boxes, yet still retain that solid low bass. For the Champion PRO series of subwoofer, Pioneer uses high-grade materials that will last a long time. The wide-roll 3-layer fiber radial surround improves the power handling of the sub, while reduces the distortion. At the bottom of the chassis sits two double-stacked magnets to provide excellent power and response. The Pioneer Champion PRO series delivers incredible booming bass that is loud, powerful, and accurate.
Subwoofer Features:
- 10" Dual 4 ohm Premier® Champion Series PRO Subwoofer
- Power Handling:
- Peak: 2500 watts
- RMS: 800 watts
- Impedance: Dual 4 ohms
- Air Suspension System for consistently clear, powerful, wide ranging bass response.
- 110oz Double-Stack Magnet with Double-Stack Top Plate
- Wide-Roll 3-Layer Fiber Radial Surround consists of two layers of urethane with a layer of interwoven fiber between them. It's strong, stable, and it reduces distortion. In addition, the wider-than-normal design provides a long, linear excursion for excellent control and heavy-duty durability.
- IMPP Cone with Carbon Fiber/Glass Fiber Reinforcement: Pioneer invented the process of injection-molding polypropylene to form a speaker cone. Now, the IMPP is reinforced with carbon and glass fiber, providing speaker cones with extraordinary strength and rigidity — and light weight. This is ideal for powerful, accurate music. And it gives the cones the durability needed for withstanding heat, humidity, and dust.
- Cast Aluminum Basket: one-piece aluminum basket assembly holds the motor assembly, cone, and magnet structure securely in place. The benefits of this design: reduced internal stress, superior damping, and increased magnetic efficiency.
- Integrated Single-Sided Silver Compression Wire Terminals
- Frequency Response: 18-1000 Hz
- Sensitivity: 87 dB
- 2-year SonicElectronix.com warranty

My friend bought 2 of these subs. They will hit pretty hard. His are definitely under powered. Although he was pleased when I hooked them up correctly and they actually started to make some noise. Remember have someone install your system that knows what they are doing not just anyone can install these subs and amp. I had to rewire everything on the amp and subs. But after rewiring they did hit but for the power they are receiving I have personally heard better. I would personally would go with kicker for the money, you can get more sound for an extra $70 per sub with some Solo baric L7. But if you can't go all out and want a all around pretty good sub. You can't go wrong with this one.

Ive got two of these subs hooked up to an amp pushing bout 1200 watts total at 2 ohms and it sounds good. Im going to upgrade though cause these subs are meant to be pushed. Right now they are being pushed like a granny. Good lookin subs and easy to mess with. No complaints!! Cant wait to get my new amp and lose my hearing!!! haha

I bought this sub because I have a standard cab ford ranger and needed to find a sub that could handle my kicker 600w-rms amp. I am pleased to say that this was my best option. I built a custom box that fits between the seats and doubles as an arm-rest. This sub pounds hard and I dont have to sacrifice leg room for me or my passengers. O yea it handles all 600 watts rms of my amp. this is a great hard-core 10" sub.

Greatly enjoy my pair of PP Champ Pro's! Plays all types of music well but with Punch! Small ported enclosure with big sound- might want to try sealed with these 10's. Need lots of Juice, feeding from Kole 5500W @ 1ohm which seems to work well. Upgrade of battery recommended for high volumes.
