Champion Series PRO: Powerful by Design
Introducing the series that changed the way Pioneer makes subwoofers: The Pioneer Champion PRO Series. The patented technologies behind the PRO series of subwoofers bridge the gap between quality bass and an affordable price. They feature an air suspension system that creates a spring-like effect and a compressed air chamber within the subwoofer. The result is powerful, deep bass. They are developed to utilize the air space surrounding the subwoofer so that they can be installed in smaller boxes, yet still retain that solid low bass. For the Champion PRO series of subwoofer, Pioneer uses high-grade materials that will last a long time. The wide-roll 3-layer fiber radial surround improves the power handling of the sub, while reduces the distortion. At the bottom of the chassis sits two double-stacked magnets to provide excellent power and response. The Pioneer Champion PRO series delivers incredible booming bass that is loud, powerful, and accurate.
Subwoofer Features:
- 10" Dual 2 ohm Premier® Champion Series PRO Subwoofer
- Power Handling:
- Peak: 2500 watts
- RMS: 800 watts
- Impedance: Dual 2 ohm
- Air Suspension System for consistently clear, powerful, wide ranging bass response.
- 110oz Double-Stack Magnet with Double-Stack Top Plate
- Wide-Roll 3-Layer Fiber Radial Surround consists of two layers of urethane with a layer of interwoven fiber between them. It's strong, stable, and it reduces distortion. In addition, the wider-than-normal design provides a long, linear excursion for excellent control and heavy-duty durability.
- IMPP Cone with Carbon Fiber/Glass Fiber Reinforcement: Pioneer invented the process of injection-molding polypropylene to form a speaker cone. Now, the IMPP is reinforced with carbon and glass fiber, providing speaker cones with extraordinary strength and rigidity — and light weight. This is ideal for powerful, accurate music. And it gives the cones the durability needed for withstanding heat, humidity, and dust.
- Cast Aluminum Basket: one-piece aluminum basket assembly holds the motor assembly, cone, and magnet structure securely in place. The benefits of this design: reduced internal stress, superior damping, and increased magnetic efficiency.
- Integrated Single-Sided Silver Compression Wire Terminals
- Frequency Response: 18-1000 Hz
- Sensitivity: 87 dB
- 2-year SonicElectronix.com warranty

These subwoofers sound Much better In ported enclosures if you want SPL. They are still able to produce accurate punchy bass and hit the lows harder than they ever did when I had 3 in a 2cbft box. I have 3 of them ported in my Ford F150 2006. Hifonics 2400 Watt amp.

Short and sweet: Buy this if you don't have room for a 12" sub.
Pros: Awesome power handling, great sound, very low freq response for a 10" sub.
Cons: Awesome power handling....very very power hungry, do not recommend in a sealed enclosure unless you have the full RMS available.

For the price this sub is well worth it. I purchased this box along with Custom Enclosures 101KPRO and the two rocks my socks. You can't really go wrong when you buy pioneer.

I bought 3 of these subs and all I can say is that they are R.F.L. 2-ohms is the way to go if you want to get the most power of your mono amp.
These subs give out deep bass and they sound amazing. I switched 2 15in solo-barics for these 3 and I was not disappointed
