My friend bought this receiver for me this past Christmas and it is the best I have ever owned. The sound quality is amazing and makes your CD's sound like you are at a concert. I would recommend this to anyone who wants great sound for a good price. The bluetooth is also another great feature for the price.

Bought this instead of the DEH-P7900BT as it turns out its the same unit but has the $30 iPod adaptor included. I installed it in a 2002 Land Rover Freelander SE. Bought the wiring harness from another popular electronics catalog retailer as the fine folks here didn't have a harness for me. The price was $100 less than the other guys though shipping ate into that savings.
Other than a crossed 12v constant/switch wire and the fact that my factory speakers have an amp that I didn't know, installation went well.
Sound from the Bluetooth is great and having the iPod integrate is really nice. I have over 1400 songs on my iPod and it seems to move through it quickly. My only complaint is it would be nice to have buttons for station presets but I think this is something I can get used to.
Also bought the PAC SWI-PS steering wheel controller unit.
Control an iPod with a compatible Pioneer stereo such as the Pioneer AVIC-D3, DEH-P3000iB and other compatible Pioneer car stereos • compatible with all docking iPods • sends song, artist, album, and time information to your Pioneer stereo's display
I just recently bought a new car stereo from Sonic Electronix. Their customer service was excellent and they got my order to me before the holiday season after purchasing the week before the holiday for FREE! I am definitely going to shop at Sonic Electronix a lot more often!
