For the price this is a good deck. Has some quircks but is for the most part solid. Touchscreen could be more sensitive to the finger and sometimes does open by itself when starting the ride. I close and open it myself when after starting the car. No issues with it open and closing. Pretty impressed for the price with all you get. Pioneer is my usual choice but I am on a budget and this does a great job for what I need. We put this in an older car so to have bluetooth to talk and listen to music from my phone. Bluetooth works great. I bave run everything with the screen shut and works great that way also.

Love it
I would recommend anyone cause I love sonic electronix been doing business with them there service is terrific
Most features work well
It's worth the price. Pros are. Nav is easy and picks up well. Screen is easy. Cons are the mobile link is impossible to figure out and there is no instructions other than how to set the radio up. The Mic didn't work and I bought a new one instead of removing the whole unit and sending it back. It's a nice unit
Very good radio with loads of extras. Great value for the price!
Bought this for my 2002 GMC which had a 1-1/2 din OE radio. This 1 din
radio with the mounting kit was an easy install with no modifications to the instrument panel. Navigation is great and sound is outstanding even with no added amp or subwoofers. Only negative is that it doesn't fully support my iPhone. Would still highly recommend this radio!
Great Bang for your Buck!
I was really amazed with all the features that come with this single din. The screen is a great size not too small and not too annoyingly huge so it fit perfectly in my car. You get Bluetooth connection for music and calls as well as two mics and after testing it multiple times, everyone has said the sound quality during calls match my cell if not better. GPS is great but not that accurate, I recommend you update the navi after installation. You can pics on to it and use them as a wallpaper since the default wallpapers are a bit tame to say the least. That being said the interface will block a huge portion of any picture you decide to use as a wallpaper especially in BT Music. Interface is simple and easy to use. You can insert a microSD behind the faceplate for movies, music, and pic files. If you have an Android phone with the OS at version 5.0 or later you can connect it via USB and mirror the phone on the screen. Also can program your steering wheel controls/media buttons if you want. You can install cameras and extra screens as well.
That being said there are a few negatives to this item.
First it will always turn on to the radio regardless if you were watching a movie or connected to your phone, it will still automatically connect to Bluetooth if you have the setting for it on just not take you to that mode right away. The rewind and fast forward features for video only apply to DVD and not video files so if you switch modes or turn off the car any video files will restart from the beginning. Faceplate is glossy so fingerprints, smudges and dust can be obtained and seen incredibly easy. The screen itself is only 480p in resolution which helps make 1080p movies look nice but when you connect via MHL to a phone if you watch anything in higher resolution like on youtube or in storage the screen will lag and stutter a bit also audio will play on the phone and not the stereo. Also if you choose to close the screen you will not be able to change modes and if you have it set to close on startup you will only have access to the radio until you open the screen. Also I don't know if it was by design or if it's an inherent flaw but your volume will change in intensity between BT music, the radio, any discs, and during Navi. If I have navigation on the music will sound louder but in every other mode I have to crank it pretty high for those times I want to enjoy loud rap/rock/edm music.(as in up to 89% or more in the volume meter). Finaly I was also given the wrong adapter to connect it to my vehicle but a short trip to Wal-Mart and 13 bucks later, I was set.
Overall this is a great choice for someone that wants a screen but only has the ability to put in a single din. The amount of features you get for the price is pretty amazing even with the flaws it has. It came with a remote but as the main driver, I rarely use it but it is a nice addition with the touch screen pen as well. Hopefully future variants will handle and work on the flaws and you will have a near perfect product. I love it and will gladly purchase from Sonic Electronix in the future.
Overall 4.2/5 it would be a 5 if the flaws were fixed and I could change the color of the led screen.
