I hooked this up to my stock navigation unit in a 2008 Chevrolet truck. Great picture on screen. I rated it a little lower in value because I think you pay a little extra for the brand name. That's just part of buying a trusted product.

First unit failed due to moisture...i.e rain or car wash. I covered the seams of the second unit with silicon before installation. No problems, as yet

I would recommend this camera. It was easy to install, has a few different settings, and the picture is very adequate. For the money I would say it is a good value.

The Kenwood CCD-2000 integrated perfectly with the Kenwood DNX-series head unit I bought and installed. The installation is straightforward (if you're comfortable doing some minor low-voltage wiring) and the operation is simple. I ended up integrating it very stealthy into my license plate -- probably more than most would do - but it can be mounted easily in a variety of positions for an effective rear view. The documentation is excellent and the quality of the hardware is first-rate. Although the cube form-factor of this camera is a little unusual, it's a great value and works as advertised.
