My friend pulled up to show off his new sub with this and i just laughed at him. Its pretty ugly. BUT i was surprised for the sound quality. Its not a heavy hitter but the sound quality is nicer than my subs.
Pros: The sound quality is very good for the size and price. Built in amp, so its as easy as running the wires to install. Pretty compact so you can fit it into small spaces, and Overall the sound quality is good!
Cons: Its very very ugly. Don't expect to impress people by showing this off. And it doesn't hit hard. (not that i really expected it to)
Overall, if you wanted some bass to complete the sound, but don't want to spend a lot of money or take up a lot of room, then this is a good deal.

I got the BASS-800 for my sedan, simply because I wanted something to fill in the low ends of my music but not necessarily to blow the doors off my car.
Setup was reasonably uneventful, with the most difficult step of finding a place to mount the remote volume control (Inside the center console). The BASS-800 is smaller than a regular box but it's a little bit of an awkward shape.
The sound the BASS-800 produces is powerful and satisfying, but won't blow your doors off.
I wouldn't get this if you're into hip-hop, but you won't be disappointed if rock or electronic music. It will, however, reveal every rattle in your car!
The only trouble I've had with the BASS-800 was having the heat protection circuit kick in after a 6 hour drive in the summer through a desert, with the volume pretty high...and even then, it was only out for about 5 minutes. Also, the bright blue LED on the volume control remote is VERY bright, so best keep it stashed in a glove box, it'll blind you at night.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the BASS-800 and I'm planning on purchasing another one for my wife's car so she'll stop borrowing mine for the sound system.

ive owned it for a week, it will give you more than a little low-end boost, but it won't wake up your neighbors if thats what you want. It seems to need a few minutes to warm up, but that might be my battery. easy to install. Very deep bass. Good deal all in all
