This radio has just about everything for the recreational boater. AM/FM/CD for tunes underway and that party ashore. As a retired Naval Officer I really appreciate the weatherband capability to keep me advised about changing conditions and my wife and children love the MP3/iPod interfaces. Plenty of power for five speakers makes my 16ft Key Largo a floating sound system.
