The ND-BC20PA is a rear-view parking assist camera for the AVIC-Z110BT, AVIC-X910BT, AVIC-X710BT, AVIC-F900BT and AVIC-F700BT navigation/CD receiver/monitor. When your vehicle is in reverse, the monitor screen automatically switches to the view from the ND-BC20PA, allowing you to see what's behind you. The ND-BC20PA camera can also be used with any receiver/monitor with an RCA video input.

After hooking up the Pioneer ND-BC20PA (at night), with anticipation I put the car in reverse, and to my shock, the picture was extremely pixelated, so much so, that it maks seeing anything almost impossible at night. Since it was late, I went to bed thinking perhaps I had done something wrong and I'd look at it in the morning.
In the morning, after testing the video quality, I will say it was better in the daytime. However, for the price of this unit, I was definitely expecting more.
At one point, the thought occurred to me that I may have a bad ground. So disconnected it from the PAC C2R-CHY4 used for connecting a Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT head unit in a Chrysler 300c. Still no improvement. Next I tried connecting the power to another source, again bypassing the PAC C2R-CHY4. Still no improvement. Finally, I attempted to use one of the other RCA video inputs in the back of the stereo. Didn't really make a difference either.
It's possible that the Chrysler's CAN-BUS system is causing some sort of interference. Or perhaps I was expecting too much from a camera. Bottom line, for me, this camera is not worth the extra money.

Really good product. No complaints.
The only thing, which could be improved is the design.

This backup camera has an incredible COLOR image! I am using it with the AVIC Z-110BT head unit. The picture is very detailed and the camera itself is almost invisible bc of the small stature. Great Product!!!
