Learn more about the knwusbavThe USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod and it allows you to navigate through your music files with the Kenwood's controls. It also passes song info to the display of the Kenwood receiver as well as other playback details. The miniplug connectors transfer the music and video from your iPod to the Kenwood receiver's audio and video inputs. A great feature with the KCA-iP300V is that music and videos travel to your stereo as analog signals, which allows you to also play the Digital Rights-protected files you have stored on your iPod through your Kenwood stereo. A 1 year warranty by Sonic Electronix is included.
Note: Your 2007-up Kenwood DVD receiver must have a USB input, an auxiliary input, and a miniplug video input in order to work with this cable.

Excellent product!!
The only thing stopping you from quality music thru your iPod is this cable. Installing it is a pain because u have to plug it in toyou actual stereo. I'm not a car tech guy so I had to hire someone at the car audio store in my area to do it, however this cable now rests in my glovebox with the iPod giving me access at all times. You can watch videos play tracks virtually anything your iPod does. Your Kenwood stereo can now do it too with the help of this cable!! All iPod controls work on the stereo shuffle repeat all that good stuff. Honestly though kenwood is so cheap why not include this cable in the original stereo box? Stereo is awesome cable is awesome... I'm happy!

Perfect Item
This item works exactly how i need it to for my kenwood head unit. Lets me install my ipod where i want and adapts it to the radio to be controlled through the receiver.
