i got this sub worrying that i made a mistake buying it and i'm happy to say i wasn't i use to have two 12 inch rockford fosgate T1's in my camero with hifonics 2000 rms watt amp and than i got this sub i only got one and this thing is louder than those two T1's. this is the best sub i have ever owned and not very easy to blow i have blown a sub or two in my days. this sub hits way hard i highly recommend it. but make sure you give it enough airspace it makes a huge difference i'm giving mine 6 cubic feet of air space

I have 2 of these in a huge custom ported box that takes up half the back of my Tahoe with 2 Memphis 16-MCD1000 amps pushing em and these subs will make your ears bleed if your in the truck more than 2 min my dad said he could hear me coming from 4 blocks away and whenever i bump it in the drive way it makes our whole house shake. I also have a pioneer touch screen with 6 jbl speakers and a 4 channel amp from memphis pushing them. These subs are not for the weak hearted.

It's a great speaker, when it was first installed and we turned it up just about half way it was setting off car alarms from across the street about 30 feet away....although the only downsides are, it really rattles the trunk, a given, I know...and I have found is that it draws a lot of power and all of my lights dim when it hits. You will have to beef up your electrical system (which is in the works), work on the trunk, and get a good amp to run it right. overall I have enjoyed the speaker greatly and most of my friends don't like riding in my car without ear plugs.....wussies....

I'm currently running 4 of these and I'm hitting over 160 db's. I'm currently the loudest Registered vehicle in Utah. I have 2 Mojo amps pushing them 16,000 watts. They are highly under rated in power. I haven't had a single problem with them at all and I enter DB drag, usaci, and MECA competitions. I can barely breathe in my suburban with these bad boys. You wanna be heard? These are the subs for you then. Just be prepared to have a really good amp to push them. If you under power them you will blow them due to distortion. But ran properly they will treat you well. I have had mine for 2 years now and they still louder than ever and can be heard for blocks.

These subs are very amazing when it comes to bass. These subs are underrated though. I have done many of these and seen many done that have a Memphis MCD-2500 on each one. They handle it very well considering break in time. Very Very crucial!!! They will not last 3 months without a good break in period. I promise you that. I have had every model of memphis and I really liked them but if you want sound quality dont get a 15 unless you go jl. Memphis 15's are for badass bass. You don't have to have 2500 if you don't want to but that size will take your sub to that max. A good memphis belle will make the sub sound very good as well. I personally have a memphis belle MCH-1300 with this sub in my fiances car. I did not buy hers off the net but from a dealer. I paid 750+ for hers but if it gets blown I have a 3 year warranty no matter what happens to the sub. This site will not cover blown subs...
