I would recommend this deck to anyone who wants functionality as well as looks. The red and blue lights make this deck look awesome when its dark out. It also is really easy to use. I love how i can scroll through my ipod using my deck. The ipod setup lets you go through your ipod just like the click wheel itself, you can scroll through artists, album, song, genre, etc. It is well worth the money.

Great buy. you cannot go wrong with alpine products. Great quality receiver, I just wish I would have opted for the 9886 solely for the 4 volt outputs, otherwise I am completely satisfied with it.

this deck is amazing. alpine has perfected the in dash receiver. now the only bad thing is with the ipod contrrol. it takes awhile to find the song u want if u have lots of songs but dont let that bother you. it defiantly makes the interior of your car nicer. good job alpine and it sounds amazing

I love this head unit. It looks great and has plenty of features. The high-speed iPod cable is a must have for iPod owners. It keeps the iPod charged while giving all the controls to the deck, all you do is plug it it and leave it in your glove box. I will admit that finding a particular song isn't the quickest, but it's not too bad. Overall I'm am very pleased with Alpine's products.

This is a highly capable unit. The display isn't fancy, the red is too red to match my dash and the D/A converter reveals everything bad about a low bit rate file. Be prepared to re-rip everything to lossless audio or 256 or better. The tuner can pull in distant stations and the included i-Pod cable allows complete control over my Nano. Even though it seems like I had some knocks on this deck it's really a great deck. The controls are easy to use and the menu is straight forward

I recently purchased this cd player and let me tell you its a pretty nice one. It will do everything you can think of. It has everything from highpass filter's all the way down to where you can select the specific frequencies of bass and treble you want it to boost, all while lookin real nice, but if your thinking on purchasing it note that the only lights that change colors are the blue ones on the left, they can be red or blue, all the rest are red all the time, other than that this is an exelent product that would make a real nice upgrade or aftermarket cd player, i would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice cd player with TONS of features for a reasonable price!
