| Review written by Don from Apache Junction, AZ I highly recommend this product! It has everything you can imagine; regular tuner, HD tuner, mp3 and/or ipod aux input, the really great USB port, the ease of usage, the cool looking blue lit face, and the handy remote. I tied it into a set of Infinitys and the sound is fantastic! And on top of all that, the price was excellent! I'm going to need another stereo real soon for another vehicle and this is absolutely my first choice! |

| May 30, 2009 | A true automotive “entertainment system” | ||||||||||||
| Review written by Donald from Phoenix, AZ WOW !!! This Dual XHD6425 is one FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC HD Radio! Ordered it on a Monday night, and SonicElectronix.com’s outstanding shipping department had it in my hands on Thursday afternoon (3 days). Included with my order at no additional charge were an in-dash adaptor kit, and a connector plug to interface with the Dual wire harness, that enabled me to connect the new radio directly to the existing car radio plug in my 2001 Chevy Tracker. This will allow me to re-install the factory radio in the future … in a snap, when I sell the vehicle. These two extra items were PERFECT in every way and made for a SWEET INSTALLATION !!! Now, back to the Dual XHD6425. I did a quick hook-up of all of the wiring first, just to verify that the unit was in good health before doing the official “install”. Checked out all of the radio’s functions and determined that everything worked as it should. This Dual XHD6425 is SPECTACTULAR!!! HD Radio is new to me, and I was absolutely amazed at the sound quality compared to standard FM radio. Having the additional station & song information scrolling across the display is VERY COOL. This radio packs a gob of “goodies” in one package, which makes an installation un-complicated (no extra boxes to hide, install, and run wires to). HD radio, CD player, Aux Input, and USB Input, make this unit a true automotive “entertainment system”, all wrapped up in one box. Plenty of power in the VOLUME department … so much so, that I held back for fear of blowing my speakers. I verified the CD functionality, and the Aux Input with a small radio just for fun, and it works great. I was also HIGHLY IMPRESSED with the USB functions. Loaded about 6 CD’s onto a USB ThumbDrive (MP3 format) and WOW … plays like a champ, with song titles and artist info scrolling across the display. The REMOTE CONTROL that also comes with this unit is also EXCELLENT!!! Not too small, not too large, fits in the hand nicely, and is very user friendly. At first I thought having a remote control was kind of silly, but it actually makes for controlling the unit easier by not having to look down at the radio when I decide to change something while driving. So here’s the bottom line … I’m SO IMPRESSED with all of the features, functionality and quality of this radio, that I’ll be terminating my $13 / month Satellite Radio service in the very near future, and will be listening to continuous music, instead of jibber jabber between songs. Why pay for jibber jabber? If you’re looking for a QUALITY PRODUCT that delivers a big bang for the buck … buy one of these from SonicElectronix.com. You won’t regret it!!!! Thanks SonicElectronix.com for an outstanding first-time buying experience!!! I’ll most likely be back, and you’re now on my “highly recommend” list of on-line sellers. |

| Review written by Frank from Hillsborough, NC For everything this does for bringing music to your driving experience, this product should win a Nobel Prize, or at least a Pulitzer. Awesome! |

| Review written by Peter from Tucson, AZ It does all it says. USB plays MP3's from a memory stick, or the jack can be used to power USB devices like a GPS rcvr. Plays MP3 CD's I make at home, so I can have all of my music on 4-5 CD's. 100's of titles per disc. HD Radio works well, and gives multi-program performance on FM HD stations and FM quality on HD-AM radio. Panel layout is easy to use and controls are nicely lighted for nighttime adjustments w/o too much glitz. |
| April 15, 2009 | Best Head Unit Ever! | ||||||||||||
| Review written by Michael from York, PA This is the best sounding, best featured car stereo I have ever bought in my entire life. You cannot get a better unit for the price. I only have one complaint about it, and that is when you listen to a station in HD, sometimes the HD isn't strong enough to come in, so it blends itself back to regular FM stereo. In fringe areas where the HD signal is in and out this can get very annoying. An HD bypass or "forced analog" feature is much-needed on this stereo. |

| Review written by Chad from Fennville, MI I really like all the features of this radio. I have used all of the features for music options like the USB port, AUX port for an iPod, and play CD's with MP3's on them. I have owned this radio for about six months and still enjoy using it everyday. |

| Review written by G from Newport News, VA This radio includes HD and USB support, which alone is worth the purchase price. It's not high powered, but it's not underpowered. Great HD and USB option for a replacement radio. |

| Review written by Ron from Mansfield, MA Would recomend this product. Put in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler to replace old radio that would not play MP3 and other formats. HD radio is nice to have... That is when you can actualy get the stations to come in. Not sure if it is the radios fault itself or the HD stations fault. Bottom line is that I do like the radio and would recommend it to anyone looking to put one in. |

| Review written by BrotherBill from Gainesville, Florida I was skeptical at first, because of the low price. I am familiar with the Dual name and decided to take a chance. The product is now in my '76 MGB as its only moderization. It looks good and performs even better. Normal radio reception is excellent and the HD reception is outstanding. The CD functions well and allows me to play MP3 and WAV files that I transfer from my computer. Even my old LPs that I have been converting sound great. The USB port will make that even easier and better. |

| Review written by Donnied54 from Columbia, SC The HD radio makes listening to the radio as much fun as CD. |
| December 25, 2008 | Great HD Option | ||||||||||||
| Review written by Gman from Newport News, VA Despite all the features that come with this radio, I was pleasantly surprised at the simplicity and clean-lines of the display and buttons. The volume knob is firm, so you have to grab it with two fingers instead of sliding your finger across it to adjust it, but that's no big deal, especially if you use the remote. I bought this primarily because of HD tuner built-in, and it's brilliant! Lots of radios have flashy nonsense on their displays and buttons that do things that nobody really uses, but this radio has a great balance between lots of features and clean simple to use display. |

| Review written by Mike from Oakmont, PA HD is built in, I now have at least 8 more GOOD stations. This is not a high end stereo, but the sound is very good. I like the artist and title scrolling feature. With the harness, in dash adapter and antenna adapter, made a very easy install on a Jeep Wrangler. Also purchased the BTM-60 Bluetooth. Even in the Jeeps "louder" environment, the calls come through nice and clear. Caller ID in the display is a great feature. I am thinking of doing this same set-up in 2 other vehicles. Price wise you can't beat this set-up. |

| August 15, 2008 | Great Buy But Not Perfect | ||||||||||||
| Review written by Ryan from Placentia, CA This is a great entertainment system for your car. The HD radio good, I like all of the extra channels assuming that you have a good enough signal, the HD-2 and HD-3 channels cut out completely if you do not. It could use a little better FM sensitivity but it is still satisfactory. The USB feature is ok, it is difficult to navigate through the folders if you have a large capacity mp3 player hooked up, it also does not read through all of the subfolders, so if you have a folder for music, then artists, then albums, then it will only read inside of the artists folder and not any of the albums of that artist. Although this can be easily overcome by just hooking it up through the 3.5mm aux input, but then you lose the track name on the deck. It is also nice that you can charge your mp3 player through the USB. I have not used the bluetooth yet, but I don't doubt that it will work well. Bottom line: It is a great buy for the $$, plenty of features, but it still has a few glitches that you will not mind if you aren't picky. |
| July 10, 2008 | Great product in small package! | ||||||||||||
| Review written by Nathan from Alpharetta, GA It's got everything I'll ever need in a stereo for my car: USB, Front AUX, HD Radio (tuner built-in), Remote (by far, more functional and user friendly than any other equivalent head unit). My only real con is I wished that the title info for CD/mp3 tracks would scroll when they initially start playing. Oh, and it's pretty good at putting the power the way I care about it: not bump in the trunk sort, but enough to where I can "feel" the music. I've actually blown a couple of my factory speakers, which I expected, so it's off to BestBuy to get the speakers I got off here installed! |
