High quality car head unit, great sound. In my opionion Pioneer's only real competitor is Alpine but Alpine costs more money. I have put Pioneer in my last 3 cars and will continue to do so.

Not as intuitive as older models which I have owned. Great sound quality even on factory speakers- because of the adjustable frequency EQ and high pass filter. Good price for features and audio quality.

This is such a great unit, we bought two others for each of our other vehicles. Not only is the product awesome, we don't have to figure out a new unit in each vehicle. There are many features on this unit that we have not explored but for simplicity, this is about as easy as it gets (even for a non-techy!).

This Stereo isnt a bad one but doesnt have very many features and is a bit difficult to use. Push the circular thing to the right or left to change channels manually. The remote makes the stereo easier to use, its a good stereo for the money but not many functions on the unit itself.

i got this stereo refurbished awhile back and i love the way it looked. it was the first stereo i put in my dodge charger and it blended in very nicely. it has great sound options; i like the high pass filter it has and all of the EQ options it gives you. I recommend this to anyone; plus its really cheap in price (not quality though).

This product may be inexpensive but DO NOT get the impression this is a cheap head unit. I have this paired up with two pairs of 4x6 kickers that I ordered from Sonic Electronix, and only one word sums this unit up.WOW. I have never heard music so clear in my life. If you are just wanting a unit for a good price that will play speakers flawlessly, this is the one for you. 10/10

I'm currently using this receiver in my car. I'll need to upgrade to the P4000UB version though because this won't support my 4 channel amp and subwoofer amp at the same time. The main problem is the preouts. The second pair can only do subs OR rear speakers. If you choose rear speakers, than the subwoofer control is cut off. If you choose subwoofer, then your rear speakers will act as subs. The sound quality is phenomenal and the features are great. The equalizer is very user-friendly, and it only takes a couple minutes to get a hang of the receiver's controls. For the money, this receiver is packed with features. Also, a big plus is the design. The lights are nice and vibrant, as well as the whole face plate looks very modern.

I bought this HU at B*** B**, installed it, then when I went to buy my speakers at Sonic, I found they had it $25 cheaper! Gah. Anyway, I have this paired to stock 4x6s, stock 1" tweets, and Infinity 693.9is. It powers my speakers well. Chokes a bit on the deep bass, but still better than I expected. Audio controls are extremely basic but easy to change. Avoid the preset EQs (they're useless) and set it up so it sounds good to your ears.

The control scheme, although different, doesn't have a steep learning curve at all. The volume dial can also be pushed and treated like a D-pad, allowing you to change songs or scroll through menus. Once you learn it you won't want to go back. iPod controls are intuitive with one drawback, which I will mention later.

The design of this HU is great, and blows away many others in this price range. The LCD is small but bright. I like how the interface isn't busy - just a few buttons and you can do pretty much anything with them that you could do on a HU with buttons all over the place. It looks nice, from the black back to the silver buttons.

I just have a few minor complaints, but don't let that scare you - this HU is completely worth the price and more.
- iPod scrolling is sort of slow, making it hard to find a particular artist or song if you have a lot. This is why I use playlists now.
- There is no dimmer option and the blue light behind the volume dial is very bright. This doesn't bother me due to its low mount in my car, but it might bother you if you drive alot at night.
- Even though the remote has a pause button, pausing from the HU is another story. You have to hit the dial 3 times and scroll a bit just to pause your music.

Overall, a great product, and I'd recommend to anyone looking for an HU in the $100-$150 range.

Its hard to get used to it at first since everything is controlled through the same dial. Its not only a dial, but also a 4 dimensional pad. The only negative to this radio is the blue light is really bright at night and there is no way to turn that down. Overall, it is a great deal.

i bought this head unit to replace my old JVC and this head unit is so much louder and more clear. i have some hifonix Zeus door speakers and tweets and there so nice and clean, most tweeters have a crisp crunchy sound to it but when i changed my head unit to this pioneer its not a crystal clear sound. i would recommend this to anyone.
