If you aren't running any amps, or maybe only a subwoofer amp, this receiver is excellent. I cannot stress how good this deck sounded. It's levels of equalization was far better than any other receiver I have seen. Besides the equalizer, the product fits it's price. Overall, the only thing that sticks out is it's equalizer. Everything else is just what you'd expect in this price range. It's a fine deck for it's low price, and couldn't recommend any other deck if you're on a budget.

When I decided on this receiver, I was also considering a Kenwood and an Alpine. I was looking for an inexpensive CD receiver with pre-amp outputs to drive an aftermarket subwoofer. This one does just fine.

It fit the dash perfectly. No trim kit or extra installation accessories needed.

The equalizer has six preset modes that you can adjust to your own liking and just change to the one you want without fiddling with the bass, mids, and treble individually. Very convenient.

The CD player plays WMA's and MP3's.

It has built-in satellite capability and is bluetooth ready (with plug in adapter). It has an aux input on the front panel so you can plug in your iPod or other external music source. The front panel is removable.

For the money, this is a great little receiver!

This receiver powers my four new speakers (two included a passive crossover) extremely well :D
On just a receiver and some basic speakers I can rumble so much that cars in my rear view mirror blurr beyond recognition. haha, to be fair, it's not that loud, but it's plenty for most people. I'm buying an amp to help it out, but it's a good receiver.

The EQ options are funky, but once you get what's going on, it's a competent EQ.
