If you can't replace your factory radio and want the extra features, like full iPod control, this is the unit you need. The only downside is the need for a remote, but if you install a touch screen, navigation will be a bit easier.

Definite must have item to use the KOS-V1000,500 factory integration units without the touch screen monitors.Wish it could have been "bundled" with the KOS-V1000. I planto upgrade later to the touch screen monitor,for ease fo use sometimes using the remote can be distracting. All in all a stop gap before investing in a touch screen monitor.
