Review written by Tony from Newark, De I like these so much have them in two of my Vehicles. Incredible sound quality but they can get loud with an amp. I listen to all types of music and you can hear things that you just don't hear without component speakers. Jazz is incredible, guitars, horns, cymbals, drums, vocals. A good recording sounds like you're there. Life like sound, nice and spacious. Full and rich. I'll be buying a third set soon.

Review written by Jesse from Tucson, AZ these premier tsd 720c are a thing of beauty!! they sound awesome, nice brite highs, defined midbass and are easy to install. they fit almost anywhere and they come with 6x8 adapters for you ford people. Ive used these in a couple of cars and they never disapoint. i could easaly say these are the best componets under 500 bucks. and thats only because the premier 720PRS are are better @ $550 retail. in my opinion these speakers are better than kicker rockford mb quart or boston,

Review written by michael from San Antonio, TX There is not a lot to say about the Pioneer TS-D720C, they simply sound AMAZING. I got these for 2 reasons, the first being i wanted an all Pioneer system, and second because of a review i read in Car Audio Mag. In short the review said they the Pioneer TS-D720C were comparable to $800 components. I couldn't find a single car audio shop in San Antonio or Austin that had them for audition. Actually, i could find anyone that had my sub or amps either. i ordered my entire system on Sonic Electronix with out auditioning any of it. Anyhow, i have to say they the Pioneer TS-D720C were the biggest and best surprise of my entire system. I am simply amazed at how well the mid bass drivers and tweeters sounded. they get very very loud and sound so clean doing it. My main concern were the tweeters, i am not a fan of harsh tweets, i was so happy when i heard how smooth they sounded. for a $109 you cant find a better sounding set of components. A buddy of mine said it best, "it sounds like your at a concert". nothing more left to say! other than BUY THEM!!!

Review written by Sparky from Benson, MN Fit welll for my application. Sound much better than stock speaker. Used mine with a 10 sub. 720s have a high pass filter with the sub picking up low bass. Works great. A little hard to find a location for crossover in door panel but got it to fit.
| June 11, 2009 | Speakers are Good, but require fine tuning. | ||||||||||||
Review written by Neil from pembroke pines, FL The speakers are great. Running them active with 3.2kHz crossover point. required quite a bit of fine tuning though. mid-bass is non existent unless you lower Mid HPF. but for the money, best out there.

Review written by D.B. from Pago, AS, American Samoa I bought a pair as a first attempt to use Pioneer products. Its sounds great and clear with about 100watts to it. The tweeter component seems kinda harsh at times when the volume is pumped up but for the price its pretty good. The JL (kid put a screwdriver into the cone) I replaced with these sounded better but also was more expensive. Still, a great value.

Review written by Moxom from NY I was hesitant to refer to this system as a great value, because most folks think “value” means settling for less. Well this Pioneer set is truly one of the hidden gems in auto audio. The tweeters are soft dome and have pretty good extension for a 1-1/8” diameter. The sound is lively but somewhat harsh until they’re broken in. The mid-bass/woofer is of the composite variety. Some manufacturers build there woofers out of one material while other use more than one material in order to get the best performance from the woofer. Pioneer did the latter with this system. The cone is made of polypropylene and basalt/aramid fibers. The poly dampens unwanted resonances and the basalt/aramid stiffens the cone for better midrange. The crossover is encased in a see-through enclosure and the recessed mounting holes mean that there are no which can snap off. Installation: Very simple especially since Pioneer includes the accessories that enable the tweeters to be mounted: flush, surface or angled. Two adapter rings are included for woofer mounting. Sound: This system is very detailed and punchy without being fatiguing. The low distortion woofer really brings out the best in high quality recordings and can play pretty loud within reason. I would recommend the use of a sub if you want more low-end kick. Treble is very good thanks to the tweeter, but it takes some time to break in. I was really surprised that this system could sound so good. It made me wonder why some companies charge so much more money for systems that sound on-par with this set. SonicElectronix shipped my set quickly and provides its own 1 year warranty, should the speakers stop functioning due to a defect. My experiences with this set and dealing with SonicElectronix were very positive which is why I recommend both.
