Currently i have two running at 900 rms, in a ported box and then my entire car. However, i want more power so i am buying two more. Don't get me wrong these things put out more bass than most people will ever have in their car, I just want more. In my new set up they will be in sealed boxes getting 1850 rms. Amazing product you wont regret buying it.

I own just one of this bad boy and it pounds like crazy! If you want a great sub without breaking the bank, do not look elsewhere. I had to turn down my bass on my radio to negative six (-6) to hear the vocals. Only problem that i had was it could not fit in a prefab box that I ordered. A trip down to a local hardware store and a six dollar grinder would do the trick.

My budget build:
SUB: cerwin-Vega V-max 124 ($129).
AMP: Crunch P1400.2 (129)
BOX: sonicelectronix ported box ($50 shipping included).
Amp kit ($19.99)

As always, SONICELECTRONIX has the fastest shipping time and they packed the items carefully!

These subs are so well built. Huge magnets and solid construction. I have my 2 12's in a sealed enclosure running at 1 ohm off a Hifonics Brutus Mono amp. My amp is giving them 1600 watts rms power and my subs handle the power great. I could not be happier with my purchase so far. These subs while not known for the "big company" name are seriously your best buy on the market. A great price and super performance.

MY FRIEND HAS 2 L7 KICKERS AND 1600W @ 2OHMS AMP PUSHIN THEM, AND THE VEGAS JUST BLEW THEM AWAY, THE BASS IS TIGHT AND DEEP. AND IS WORTH THE MONEY. WHEN U BUY THEM, JUST TO LET U KNOW, THE SUBS ARE OVERSIZED 12'S. DVC @ 500WRMS 1000W MAX. CAN'T BEAT IT. POWER BY R/F T1000.1BD AMP TO PUSH 1000 WATTS @ 1 OHM YES, THE AMP IS 1 OHM STABLE. THE SUBS HIT VERY HARD, NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF BOX U USE.

These subwoofers are very good. i just got my order today, two of these bad boys together in a ported box. i have them hooked up to an alpine mp500 amp, at 4ohms their only getting 150rms a piece and wow....they really bump at such a low power. im going to buy a new amp rated at 800rms at 4ohms to really push these to their full potential. the only problem is the cage around the woofer, the spokes are too big for standard 12" openings, but it's nothing i rotozip or sawzall cant fix (on the box of course). i had to put foam in the holes, cause i made them too big. all in all a great product tho. i am very pleased. and thanks sonic for the fast shipping, and great low prices!

These subs are crazy, lows are hard and tight, excursion is tremendous, with the right amp and box, you'll rattle something apart. i have 2 of these vmax, connected to a T1000.1bd R/F amp, 2.0 cap, and optima yellow top battery in the trunk, yes 2 batteries and a denso 100 amp alternator. i would recommend these subs worth the price. i plan to buy one more of these subs, so i can hit much harder.

just make sure that your 12" sub opening on your box is wide enough for this puppy. I had to use a sawzall and make small triangular wedge-shaped holes in order to accomodate the metal fins on this sub. I was wondering why it wouldn't just fit directly into the dual vented box I had. I wish these subs had the same protective fins as the old '06 model.
