Review written by Stephen J from Linthicum, MD I was looking for HD FM receiver with USB at a reasonable price. Unit works great and was easily installed in my Chevy Astro van. The mounting kit that was included with the harness adapter clinched the sale for me

Review written by HSuke from Saratoga, CA I bought this a year ago for $150 in order to replace the old cassette-radio player in my car. I tried the mp3-cd player, USB input, SD card input, and they all sounded great. The HD radio worked well too, though it would often switch back to normal non-HD radio if the signal was weak. I suppose this is more of a problem with my car's broken antenna, which was damaged during a particularly-violent car wash years ago. It's easy to use, it looks good, it was a good value when I bought it. The remote control is useful when people in the back want to change the song. Everything works well, so yeah, 5 stars!

Review written by Chuck from Ogden, Utah I just bought this and have no problem with the brightness or anything else. The HD will either kick in or it won't but I always had a signal at the same locations I traveled with my regular receiver.

Review written by Frank from Burnsville, NC Perfect fit in my 2002 Subaru Legacy. Seemed to have sufficient power for standard 4 speaker system. USB port and IPOD connections worked great. CD player also performed as promised. However, there were two negatives that resulted in a return. First, the illumination was just too bright! I drive a lot at night and found it not only distracting but created a glare that forced me to keep the faceplate folded down most of the time. It has 3 dimmer settings but still too bright. Next, the HD receiver was very poor. In the city within a few miles of the station, everything worked well, but once out in the country, the HD stations faded fast leaving only the flashing "LINKING" light. There is no way to disable the HD mode and go back to analog so the stations all sounded weird. If you want IPOD/USB devices...its a great unit. If you wand HD radio...go somewhere else.
