This product is exceptional. It is helping to power 4x 500 watt rms subs at 1700 watts rms from a class d amp, and there is hardly any dimming with the cap. The voltage barely drops! The only problem i had was the included diode was not working well for charging it so i used a 12 volt test light, which worked great to charge it. I expected less for 40 dollars, and i got more! Would recommend to anyone on a budget who wants a good cap!

I have it in my jeep. It is connected with name brand 4 gauge power and ground, amp is a underrated 2 channel that puts out a true 100 watts RMS per channel in stereo mode. It is pushing a 10" DVC subwoofer. Common ground which are no longer than 9 inches. At 3/4 volume there is still a significant voltage drop (not as much as before), and headlights still dim a little. Don't get me wrong, it made a difference, just not enough in my opinion....then again its only 40 bucks... There are other pros to using caps, They filter out some unwanted noise that can get picked up. So if you have a slight headlight dimming problem, and you get some alternator whine coming out of your mids and highs or out of your subs, wire one of these up. It will help.
Other than the obvious + and - posts, there is another one, much smaller. You hook it up to your remote turn on lead and now the digital display turns on and off with your radio. Kind of nice. Do recommend if you are on a budget.
