I bought this midbass as a bridge between dual 12" subs and a 6.5" mid/hi set of components. These high pass as low as 50Hz while taking 175-watts RMS and will very like take more wattage with a high pass of 60Hz or 70Hz. This is not a midrange speaker. This is a very application specific driver that should be used in 4-way active systems to transition from a very strong bass section to clean midrange section. My results so far have been beyond my expectations. The only weakness this driver has (if you can call it that) is that it isn't much good above 500Hz, so make sure you set your lowpass at 500Hz or less.

I have rated this driver according to fair criteria.

Overall = 4 (This is still the best driver in it's class for what it is used for.)

Value = 3 (It should cost less for what it does, it's not a full range driver, nor would it be considered a top subwoofer.)

Look/design = 5 (This midbass has a nice grill and look to it, and should blend in most installs aesthectically.)

Durability = 5 (This midbass can take a beating, is made of water resistant and wear resistant materials and will likely outlast 2 or 3 cars easily in it's lifetime.)

Features = 3 (I will use this for "versatility". This is a very specific and limited application driver to be used as a midbass. It's not good for much else.)

Ease of use = 2 (This driver will require professional installation or modification to most doors in order to fit properly. This midbass should be only purchase for a very specific project where it's intended use is well understood.)
