I bought one of these a few months ago and it is an excellent amp for the money. After being tuned in with an oscilloscope it was putting out 1752 watts RMS with no clip. Wonderful amp for the money. Just make sure you have it installed and tuned correctly.

I have owned two of these amps, and in my opinion, they are overrated. My first amp even fried on me!!They don't put out as much power as people say. I had 2 12" kicker CVR's that were powered by this amp and you could hear the clipping from the amp, and the sounds that it amplifies ARENT very crisp and clean. I hooked up my cousins rockford fosgate 1000 up to my subs and wow, HUGE DIFFERENCE! What's the moral of this story? Don't buy cheap products that claim to boast huge power, you will be disappointed. Save your money for something awesome! But that's just my honest opinion

I'll give this particular amp 5 stars all the way across.

I was also skeptical of this amp's performance because some people had made Hifonics out to be 'cheap'

I'll tell you one thing, they were wrong. This amp has miles of power, I had it hooked up to an Audioque HDC315 in a 3.6cu ft box tuned to ~36hz in a 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan with stock electrical, down to one ohm. It absolutely HAMMERED the lows thanks to the plentiful power coming out of this thing. Broke my damn sunroof motor, it's permanently cracked open.

Looks good at night, cool blue haze coming out of my trunk, and the black finish is sweeeeet; the bass knob is wonderful.

Very, very happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased the 2010D to power my 2 JL W3V2's in my 2002 Hyundai Sonata. I was somewhat skeptical towards Hifonics because they do not seem as mainstream as other brands, and a lot of people bash on their products.
before receiving the amp, i had a HO 200 amp alt. installed and i installed a Kinetik hc1400 under my hood and another Kinetik hc 800 in the trunk along with a stinger 80 amp relay. I feel that if you have the proper power running to it, this amp will definitely put out the rated power it states, maybe even more! it also helps if it is tuned right (obviously).
At first i thought that it was way over-rated, but then i realized one of the 2 100 amp fuses going in between my batteries was blown, and after replacing that and letting my back battery to charge, it is so LOUD!!!
my current set up is set at 4 ohms, so 650 watts RMS according to the factory specs. Personally, I think its pushing maybe 700-730 watts continuous. its temporary until i can upgrade my wires from 4awg to 0 and put in an Orion HCCA 12.2 @ 1 ohm :) it should be interesting!

something i wish it had, though, is like a control to set what frequency the bass boost hits hardest at (like the JL amps do). I used to own a 500/1, and it was a nice feature. I wonder if there is something out there that can help me out? that would be nice for when my HCCA gets installed.

overall I feel its well worth the money if you have the right set up and proper power going to it.
