Just purchased this radio over a week ago. First noticed it on other web sites, but realize it was about $300 cheaper on Sonic Electronix. I ended up doing the installation myself which was very easy. Removing and replacing the dash in my car was another story. Nevertheless, this unit is worth every penny. I love the navi and ipod interface. AWESOME. Just a little bummed out about my BlackBerry Bold not being fully compatible. I am, however, able to use the call logs to make calls; just can't use the dial pad and phone book yet.

If you are considering purchasing this unit, please do so immediately. You will find yourself looking for long drives so that you can spend as much time enjoying this unit as possible.

Well there are a lot of updates from the 7100 and 7120 series. First of all the mapping software has been reworked and looks much cleaner than previous versions. The built in bluetooth and optional ipod dock works great and if you have an iphone I am happy to say that it will work with this unit no problem also allows you to either control content from the unit itself or the iphone.

There is a significant lag on start up loading takes about 20-30 seconds which is about 10 seconds slower than my previous dnx5120 but the added features make up for the start up lag.

Very user friendly. Best sound quality. Awesome features. Amazing Garmin navi. Multicolor display is beautiful. All my friends loved it. I will strongly recommend it.
