The receiver is great. Amazing bang-for-buck value. Properly set up with a good set of speakers it will sound better than almost any stock system by far. All the features work, 6 months of use and not a single glitch.

The color scheme and motorized faceplate are fun.

Only 2 drawbacks. At high volume you lose clarity (but that happens with any system, especially in this price range), so youre not going to enter any competition. Second ... I only realized later that for about 30 bucks more I could get one with a USB connector which can read any portable media.

So generally, if you look for something to spice up your car, get it or its more expensive counterpart.

On the side of sonic electronix, service was great; fast shipping, no damaged parts - hell... I got spare mounts and cables AND free shipping.

I've owned this unit for about a month now and no problems have occurred. This is a great product with great power. I've heard the motor can go out easily but I haven't had that problem. Installation was a bit of a pain, chiefly due to the fact they don't make a wiring connector (that i could find) for the 92 beretta. It was a pain to hard wire it. Also, if you don't have XM radio, the extra cords in the back will definitely get in the way.

Overall, a great product to buy. I definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting a nice looking head unit with a lot of power.

I put this Head Unit in my 1997 Maxima about a month ago and it looks great. It has a lot of nice features, if you are into using your iPod in the car then this is the Head Unit for you. I use it with Infinity speakers and a Rockford Fosgate sub and it sounds awesome. I'm glad I chose this over all the rest. I recommend this Head Unit to anyone.

Have used this H.U. in my 1993 Jeep Cherokee paired with Pioneer speakers and Pioneer subs...sounded great. Have used this H.U. in my 1994 Chrysler NewYorker paired with Sony speakers and Kicker subs...sounded great. Now I plan to get this headunit paired with a FULL Kicker system for my 1998 Chevy S-10. This product has great looks, great reliability, great features, and great sound quality as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to add style and sound quality to their existing system. A+ product for sure!

I have had this head unit in my old 1993 Jeep with Pioneer speakers, sounded great, had it in my 1994 Chrysler Newyorker with Sony speakers and 2 Kicker 10's...sounded great, now I plan on getting it again for my 1998 Chevy S-10...All around a great product, and for it only being $99.99, it's pretty much a steal...I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to add some style and great sound quality to their system. A+ Product for sure.

The stereo sounds great, looks cool, and it's hard to beat the "wow" factor of the mechanical face.
However, this is the second one we've bought - the first one's face was broken by a purse hitting it the wrong way.

I bought one of these for a 1994 mercury topaz for about $280.00 a couple years ago and it sounded great and worked great never had a problem then I got rid of that car... Got on this website and found it for $99.99 and bought it along with a pair of Pioneer TS-A6882R for my 1996 ford mustang convertible and it makes them sound great... For the price sonics selling this for you just cant beat the quality... This is a must try product so grab one before they are all gone...

I love this deck. I have owned it for 5 months and no problems. I got it in December and i have heard that Dual motorized faceplate would stop after about two months. I still decided to get it because it was the coolest looking one. I didn't think it would work through the winter. I have had other non-motorized ones that have not worked through the winter so i thought for sure this one would be like the others. Instead it works just as good now as it did the first day i installed it.

I got this deck for my girl about 8 months ago. 6 months ago the volume started to go up either way we turned the knob. After a month of this i called it in and the guy said to push the reset button... duh. So i did and it has worked flawlessly since. I also got the Grey model for myself. the motor stopped working after a year and two months. By taking off the trim piece i was able to push down on the display to get it moving, and so far it works by itself again. The iplug is awesome, you can have it come out anywhere. This is good cause other decks look dumb with a cord hanging from its face and they get in the way. Looks expensive. great price...here

ive had this for about six months and it was awesome for a while now it sucks. the volume control knob has started turning the volume up if you turn it left or right. i could only turn it down with the remote. but now even the remote wont work anymore even with a brand new battery. a friend has this exact raido for about 4 months and he's starting to see the same problems. dont buy this unless u plan to have a temporary system.
