Like all Alpine amps, this one excels at what it does. Never gets hot--it's like an old friend, you never know what you have until it's gone. Just steady, reliable. The only negative--I dislike having to use y's when connecting two amps on the same rca. A simple input and output rather than an output and two inputs would be easier to use.

Powering infinity Kappa 5X7's and im very happy, i push this thing HARD! Running it at 2ohms and i keep it cranked sometimes for up to two hours. Never had a problem, but it does get reallly hot, like burn instantly hot. Clarity is very good and its an easy to install product. I would recommend one to my mom. Good stuff!

This amplifier is a great value.
$210 for 70watts continuous x 4 channels?

This amp will tear apart your stock speakers, but bring your aftermarket speakers to life.

I just had this put in my 2003 Eclipse a week ago with Infinity 6020CS components and Infinity 9613i speakers and my system sounds awesome. I have a Pioneer 490ib cd deck which goes up to 55 volume and I don't dare do it past 35-40

Even when you do turn your speakers up, this amp maintains clarity not expected from a $210 amplifier

This amplifier makes my MB Quart speakers come to life. With 70 watts RMS at 4 ohms, I am able to turn my speakers up as loud as my ears can handle, without any distortion. I recommend this amp for anyone who needs more power than their head unit will put out.

I have this amp powering a set of Infinity Kappa 6X9s and a set of Infinity Kappa component 6inch. It mad a world of difference. This amp puts out some serious juice to your satellite speakers and the output is crystal clear. It has some nice features too even though I don;t use alot of them (bassboost, crossovers (low and high adjustable), subsonic filter). It is also a very versatile amp as one could bridge the channels and power subs at 200 watts rms although not stable bridged below 4 ohm loads tho. A very quality amplifier. Typical for Alpine and unlike most Apline products not too costly either. I got mine for just over $200.

this amp made a big difference in the volume of my sound system...i have alpine type r speakers throughout my car and i couldnt turn it up that loud because it was horriable but after getting this it made a huge difference in the volume of my speakers...sonicelectronix also has it alot cheaper that anywhere else i paid a hundred dollars less here than at **** ***....get it if you dont like how loud your speakers are now!
