I can't believe the sound from these. 5+ across the board. I have infinity references and am now selling to buy another pair of these. for my other car. They play as low as most 8" subwoofers. def sq set and the best price.

Been using this product for 3 months now. They are ran thru an infinity basslink II 4sc amp/sub. Head unit pioneer avic d3. I only have two front speakers nothing at the back, this speakers are loud enough for my scion tc. This is my first install for a car speaker, mainly got these because of the price. Certainly better sounding than the stock speakers.

I really like these they play really low. It blends the subs better. I listen to mostly rock and heavy metal. they are fast and accurate. Far as the tweeters go my infinitys are more harsh. The infinitys don't even compair across the board. A++++++++++++ I gave 3 for last section just because they are speakers

They are amazing, especially for the price.

I made sure to mount my tweeters high enough (inside side-mirror panels) and the highs are amazing; the mid-bass is also amazing, it's hard to believe it can sound so good..

Before I bought these, my rear speakers would produce most of the sound, and they sounded better than the fronts.. Well, now, the fronts sound a LOT better than the rears, and produce most of the sound.

I love them!

I've used Phoenix Gold Amps and subs for 10 years. They've had problems with the line of amps and speakers before this line. All I have to say is they went back to the basics.

Pros:
They are some of the cleanest speakers I've heard in a while.
Sound Quality is the best on almost every style of music. I listen to a lot of Smooth Jazz, R&B, Neo Soul, Classical, Techno, Country, Heavy Metal, and Podcast. All sounds very good and clean.
They are surprisingly inexpensive. Google them and you'll find reviewers saying the same thing.

Cons:
Not really a con, but the tweeters can be a bit powerful when you turn them up. I have a Kicker 700.5 (Thanks Sonic Electronix) with a Phoenix Gold 12" RSd sub and it goes together well. Not really a use to that kind of tweeter. I have Alpine Type X comps. in my truck and they have a really mellow tweeter.

I would recommend these to any one. I've sold 3 people on them and at the price, I don't think there is anything better.

I ran these off the head unit, and the bass was good. The tweeters were crisp. I was recommended these speakers through a forum, and I was not disappointed.
The Phoenix Golds are deep speakers. Require almost 3" of mounting depth.
This is the best component set for the price!

First off, I listen to a lot of Smooth Jazz, R&B, & Classical music. Both running on the Kicker 5ch amp. I have 2 cars. In one I have a complete Alpine speakers with Type X comp. I went with a budget system in my other car. I went to PG speakers & I notice a different sound, but I liked it more. The Type X sounds a bit darker, but in a very good way. The PG sound more natural and life like. There's no way to describe it with out listening to them yourself.

These sound great. I've got 60wrms to them in undeadened doors and they are still as clean and clear as can be. The tweets are smooth and not too bright. I can hear every little nuance and detail of the music now compared to the stock system ( mach 460). I can highly recommend these at this price point.

Overall should be 4.5 .
