Best part of the box is definitely its appearance. Entire box is not 3/4" mdf, certain panels are 5/8". The worst part is the plexiglass is only 3/8" - way too thin for all the pressure this bandpass box tries to create. Flexing of any panels = less bass & muddier sound. (anyone that has used particle board boxes or dynamat on their trunk knows this). I modified my box with dynamat extreme on all the panels on the ported side and doubled up the plexiglass for the sealed side, HUGE difference.

Sound quality is pretty decent, but not meant for all subs though. In my opinion bandpass boxes for most 12's should be at least 30% bigger than these to hit the ultra, ultra lows.

If you have box building skills, design & build the ideal box for whatever subs you have for best results, if you don't mind modifying this box, then, for the price this box is ideal but it is what it is.

I put my JL audio W6 in this box and i only had a alpine mrp 500 amp going to it. I recommend using drywall screws for the plexiglass instead of the ones that come with it. other than that it hits good i had to mount my speaker upside down though, it was too big to go in normally

So basically I slapped my sub in like 5 minutes and it hits hard! It kills my ears when I put the deck at like 10 and shakes the car pretty good. Going from my sealed to bandpass box I feel like I added 500 watts.

i just put this in my suv with a new pioneer premier 12". I beats the air flow is excellent and i only expect it to get louder as the sub breaks in. the only issue is the top and bottom two screws are hard to get to with a drill or phillips, small tools are required for the installation.

this box works like a charm, easy install and high quality, hook some led's up inside and show off your sub, appearance is equally matched with quality of this box, highly recommend

I used to have a smaller and cheaper box so I decided to upgrade to this one man was it worth it it sounds deeper and looks 10x better I added some polyester into it and it sounds somewhat deeper if your looking for something that will save you space and make the sub sound better I recommend this box.

This box arrived about a week ago. I installed an Alpine 12" Type-R DVC sub w/ a 550 RMS amp.

First Impression: It didnt look like the box in the picture, it was slightly different it has two ports, one on both sides unlike in the picture. The wiring mount was on the back.... But since you have to mount the Sub in backwards to fit and the wiring mount is on the back it is wrong side of the subwoofer... making it useless... So I ended up having to buy a $15 drill peice to cut a hole on top to put another terminal cup making it look slightly wierd having two terminal cups (and its on top now...).

Performance: It hits a lot harder than the sealed box I had, and rumbles the car quite well. But I really noticed with my subwoofer it seems to have trouble hitting the really low notes (
