I have these in my 1996 grand am, and they are getting about 60 watts to them. They are not too loud but you definitely can hear them; I am not really using them for bass, but as far as treble goes they work.

This pioneer's 6x9 2 way, really helped the stocked speaker that i have on my car. I connected them to a Pioneer GM-3300T. They make a great match.

I bought a set of these a few months ago and im pretty impressed. I was in the market looking for something decently priced and something with a lower rms rating since i am running them straight to the headunit, no amp. They hit harder then i thought they would and the clarity it great. These are good speakers for the price. Good add on for a stock setup.
