Review written by Thagr81 from sacramento ca For the amount of money these subs cost they're great. I have very litte space in my ram but they beat pretty good, I found the custom box for my ram online. They're sound doesn't carry if u don't have a lot of air space, so don't expect to be heard from a block away. overall I think they're good speakers the bass is deep and well put together I'm running with a JL audio amp.

Review written by M~Dizzle from new castle, delaware These subs are great. I have two of them in my el camino and man do they hit. im only running them at about 300 rms and they rattle my door panels and my rear view mirror. I also have them turned around, and the cage on them looks pretty good too.

Review written by Mario from Bakersfield, CA I had two of these pioneers not too long ago and they were both powered only half way and it was shaking everything inside the car, my vision was even blurry. I WAS SURPRISED!

Review written by Tom from O' Fallon , MO i highly recommend this sub. its very well suited for use as dual subs and can hit hard enough for anyone's taste provided a powerful enough amp.

Review written by Jesse from Portland, OR I have 2 of these in my little Honda Civic and they just about tear the little guy up! Haha! I have them hooked up to a 800watt RMS, 2200watt peak Soundstorm amp (from this site) and they pound so hard you'd think there's an earthquake going on! They handle the power amazingly, no distortion at all! I had to buy a cap to keep my headlights from practically turning off at night though. :) Oh, another thing that's nice is that they come with these foam rings that put a barrier between the sub and box to keep it from making any buzz or distortion.

Review written by Keith from Naples, FL I bought 1 of these and hooked it to a Pioneer GM-7300M... This thing hits amazingly hard for that kind of wattage. i originally bought it planning on running 2 ohms, but when I got it I realized I made the mistake of ordering the wrong one... I kinda felt like the website mis-lead me because under impedance it reads "2 Ohms", but then again i should have realized that it was a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub and that it would really run at 4 ohms... Oh well I'm still really happy with it at the 250 watts from the amp. Trust me, it does hit really hard and sounds really great... I can only imagine how nice it is when hooked to 400 watts of power!

Review written by Jean from Morganton, NC I have an older model and a newer model. Had the older one for over 2 years and it still sounds great, just got the new one. Hooked both up to a 800w RMS amp with a 1.5 ft. Ported box and wow they play very loud with good sound quality also. Can't understand why some people think pioneer has bad stuff, because its not. Its actually very good. Head units, Amps, Speakers and Subs.

Review written by Casey from APO, AP I bought this sub because my other Pioneer sub blew and I was looking to upgrade. I should have taken a hint with the first one, DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED POWER!! I was pushing this sub with a RF Power 450s and RF 1 farad cap, in a 1.75cuft ported box. This sub gets very loud and I was impressed, but it couldn't take the 450watts rms. This would probly be a very good sub in a sealed box with about 350watts rms.

Review written by John from Commerce Twp., MI I bought two of these and hooked them up with a 1800 watt power acoustik amp. They sound great! If you are looking for a quality system, but don't have a lot of extra cash, these are great for the money.

Review written by Leo from Pittston, PA I have two of these hooked up to a kenwood 1800 watt max (900) rms at 2 ohms amp. These subs are a lot louder then my friends kickers who has the same amp. They sound good and don't seem to get distorted at all when the music is turned up. i would recommend these to anyone who cant afford to spend a lot of money or to anyone who wants a good sounding sub.
