Solid subwoofer. I'm powering a single 10" in my wife's 4Runner and it sounds great. Can handle heavy bass hip-hop or classic rock.

I have 2 of these in a ported box. Sound quality is very good if you can power them. They will handle considerably more power than stated in the specs. 100 - 200 RMS each. If you tune the box a little lower than the 40.5hz suggested by Rockford, you will be amazed how low a 10" woofer can drop! Not to mention the punchy bass as well. I have mine tuned to 38hz to make up for rise in cabin frequency & I am very impressed with them indeed. With the box tuned to 40.5 hz, they will drop as low as 32hz in the car so be sure to use an amp with subsonic filter @ 20hz if using in ported box. I wouldn't recomend them in a sealed box as output is considerably lower & not worth any gain in sound quality for sacrifice in output. Perform very well in ported enclosure @ 1 cu ft per woofer which IMO is not that large of a box. will get maximum output @ 1.4 Cu ft with some sacrifice of sound Q. Travel is a wopping 13mm, thats alot of cone movement for a 10" driver! I have them in a large car with a propaine gas tank in the trunk(Propaine powered car) & I still get a decent back massage. Still required lots of dynamat to combat the rattles.

I have this sub in an obcon 755-10 double aero port box on a 07 Punch P400-2 and it is mad sick. I have rockford power series for my highs on an 06 t3002 power series and they sound sick together. Also getting it for this price from sonic is the only way to go, I look forward to ordering more things from here.

This subwoofer has great sound reproduction, I have it installed in a down firing pyramid box in a Jeep Wrangler, with an Power Acoustic BAMF2000 (also purchased from sonic) powering them. If rock music is your thing these subs will do you right. They also do well with hip hop but you wont get the real deep low end that you get with 12" subs, but they will still rattle the car sitting next to you.
