Got this one for my wife's car. It works almost as well as my more expensive BEL and this one is rechargeable! Has great features and is a great budget detector. Keep battery charged regularly. Noticed that the sensitivity can sometimes be less when the battery has less than 1/2 charge. Probably something to do with dropping voltage.
Otherwise, it is a great unit. Too bad I can't return the BEL and get this one for me.

Don't know how many recharges the battery will take, so durability is based on six months of use. So far no problems.
