I bought this about a week ago and it works great with any mp3 player, cd player, or anything else that has a headphone jack. There is almost no static if you keep the car volume and device volume about even. It has 8 stations so if one doesn't work you can change it with a press of a button. It is a cheap and easy way to integrate your mp3 player to your car's sound system.

I purchased this product for my navigation system! But soon discovered it had multiple uses.true it is not as good as hard wire app. But I rate this as A MUST HAVE. I travel and plug it in the ear piece of my blackberry or I pod,and and set stereo station in car and I have uninterrupted music through my car sound system! You might have to change frequency state to state, but just drove 600mi. Never lost the signal! Price was just as good as product!

The Monster cable works well to use my MP3 player in the car thou an FM channel. The only inconvenience is the need to switch channels while you are driving due to stations bleeding in.
