Great amp for the money. Have it pushing two kicker cvt shallow mounts 10s at about 350 watts at 2ohms. Kicks them hard and barely gets warm. I haven't had any problems at all will recommend for a good system on a budget.

I bought this amp to power my 2 kicker cvr 10s. They hit hard but I no the power acoustic isn't getting anywhere near 1800 watts. I am going to buy the brz1700 to power 2 12" alpine type-r's. Amp was here in a matter of days great job Sonic definitely going to order the amp here! best prices in town!

I had the OVN4-1600 and it was an ok amp for my starter system because i couldnt afford a name brand at the time. But then I "upgraded" to this amp. Im running it off of pure copper 4 ga. and a 220 amp alt in combination with a 4 channel for the mids and highs. The first one I got was blown when i got it, so I chalked it up as a manufacturing problem and got the replacement. When I hooked it up to the system and turned it on the amp put out barely enough power to move them, it could not be tuned correctly, and the amp was just overall horrible. For starters the subsonic's lowest setting is 30Hz which is way too high for an amp meant for subs. Even when turned all the way down to 30 it still cut off notes from 38Hz and below. And not to mention but we clamnped this amp and running at 1.97 Ohms it was only putting out 326 watts RMS. Way below the stated 380. If you have the money buy a DC, AQ, Pioneer, or SunDown amp. They out-perform all others.

i had a BAMF 1800/2 and it fried after 3 months....it shouldnt have gotten too hot sitting next to a ported box.....but then i sent it back under warranty (this was last year in 2008) and got the 2008 model of the OV2-1800....it pushes my 2 Kicker CVR 12's hard and is very responsive and sounds great...also has quiet turn on and a nice blue light under my seat which is great at night
