Works great with iphone

Deck works seamlessly with iphone. which is what I was looking for.
I found set up and menus confusing. Setting up was not that easy
especially sound controls and equalizing
You have to spend more to get the dimming feature also.
Is it really that big a deal they can't add it to all the decks.

great sound, bad display

Pros: Great sound, great for someone who wants to fine tune their audio
Cons: I don't like the display. Plain, dull, hard to navigate, and I often hit the wrong buttons. Also, when I change radio stations, it waits about 2 seconds before changing.

Amazing Sound Quality!

I just put this in my Durango. It is amazing. The sound quality is amazing and the HD Radio is great. I think this dominates any other HU of this type on the market!

Killer

I just traded my pioneer Premier 490IB in and got this. I tell you it is a huge improvement. It's got to be at least twice as powerful and has a lot more features. I liked my Pioneer but this is far superior to that.

Would not recommend

This is an engineers radio for engineers. The manual is not written for human beings. My girlfriend and I test drove a new Jetta 2011 and the radio was so user friendly compared to the Kenwood, we are thinking about buying the car on that feature alone. Over engineered and underdesigned. The sound is only as good as your speakers. Once you get it set up, pray your battery never dies.
