Purchased for Parent's 50th Anniversary. Picture is excellent especially when paired with a Samsung Blu-Ray player, almost too good. You can see nose hairs, pores, etc. Might not be the best for hard of hearing w/o extra sound. Parents keep volume max most of the time. Seems to be sensitive to signal quality, another HDTV on the same coax plays just fine, but, this one will sometimes have pictures issues. You can get DLNA to work w/ Windows 7, but, linux will require work, at least with mediatomb.
