Keep your system small with this box
I purchased this box for my 2 12 inch alpine type r subwoofers. the subs completely destroyed it. the box does not hold up good. the plexi glass on it cracked and was bent after 2 hours of use. i do not recommend this box unless your system has a low watt amount.
*** ADMIN NOTE *** We definitely do not recommend using 2 Alpine Type-R subs with this box. It is for entry level subwoofers with a wattage of no more than 600 watts max each (300 watts RMS each)...or 1200 watts max total (600 watts RMS total)

Don't laugh, but I needed another subwoofer for my DJ business and didn't want to spend $500 at a music shop! So I tapped into the car audio buff I was 20 years ago, bought this box & installed 2 Kicker 12" Comps. It puts out more bass than my Peavey 18" sub with only 200 watts rms going to each subwoofer! I wish the speaker terminals were in the rear instead of on the side, but nothing a hole saw can't fix! 3 months later...so far so good!

I would recomend this enclosure as entry level box. It is loud and looks decent. I only run a Punch 250s amp and Pioneer 12"s. It sounds pretty good.
