Tech Pro EQ-5151
My sterio sounded good but with the additiion of Technical Pros's EQ-5151 it sounds even better!!
Higher highs and lower lows + 12 dB boost is increadible.
The unit is durable to because me and my cousin we was drinking beer and my cousin he opened his to close to the unit and I guess the beer was shaken or warm because it shot beer allover the front of the unit and even though it smells like warm beer still it still works. Get one you won't be sorry.

Excellent EQ! Boost's the Lows/Mids/Highs 5x!
After doing some thorough research on some EQ's and looking at various price ranges, I'd figure this one would suit me well. I had since then bought a Technical Pro Hybrid 1502U and Technical Pro Fuse-12's for my karaoke setup...and just like those, this EQ solid...structure, the sliders, the blue lights...its very well built.
On to the juicy stuff...the sound. Adding an EQ to a sound system, whether it'd be professional/home/car stereo, will add dramatic difference to your music. An EQ will actually make your speakers sound ALOT better. I set everything flat (on 0) on both channels. I played some karaoke dvd and just enabled the music side...so I can listen for variations when I am adjusting the EQ.
I started right to left (highs on the right, mids in the middle, and lows on the left). The sliders are very solid, and don't feel cheap at all. They move up and down with ease. As I made my way thru the bands, I could hear very dramatic differences from +4 all the way up to +12. My highs on my speakers are crisp now, instead of just a solid thick sound, they are very natural sounding and you can now better distinguish the tweeters from the mids. Without the EQ on, the sound was just OK...it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as clear as I wanted it....but with the EQ on, it sounds WAY better.
When adjusting the low end, I was able to FEEL more bass....especially in the low low end...32hz and 63hz range....i set the 32hz on +4 and the 63hz on +6...i've got the 125hz set to +7/+8...my karaoke dvds consist of tight punchy bass, and with those settings, the difference is night and day. The bass comes thru my speakers with more Mmph! factor since I can adjust the low end...its amazing.
Overall, I give this unit a 10/10. Yes, its just an EQ, but the functionality of it and the results will astound you. This is by far the best addition to my sound system!
