Awesome Sub for Infintie Baffle
I bought two of these to replace two JL IBF subs in a Stealthbox. I had tried six other sets of subs before the Image Dynamic ID8's. These hit sooooo deep! Very clear but plenty of output. I'm also giving them about 250 rms each and they love it! I highly recommend these. They are my new favorite sub. I can't wait to try the new IDQ8's when they come out.

Great sub, especially for it's size. Doesn't take much power to make it boom. However, in my trunk I could not hear it, I had to move the sub box into the cabin to really get a punchy sound. That being said, the boxes is very small. 10x10x8". This is a great option for people who don't want to be "looked at" while they enjoy their music. This sub sounds great and has more than enough sound if located in the cabin for casual and even moderately loud music listening. If you're looking for something to shake you car to pieces or require trunk mounting i would look somewhere else.

Aside from the useless rear magnet caps and the faux screws, these subs are awesome. I have 2 tucked under the seat (09-14 f150 Screw Cab), forward firing, each in their own .4 cuft chamber, being pushed by an MRP-500 @ 2ohm. Perfect amount of kick for any song. You can feel it in your chest+seat. The subs look and sound good, was a little hesitant buying the older model V3 while it was on sale for $69, but after almost month with these, not a single regret, just SQ i wanted. I got a lot of recommendations on Image Dynamics subs while i was looking, now i know why. If you spend time properly designing a box, and properly tuning it, you will be very surprised with how these speakers respond.

This is just an amazing sub! No one will think you have an 8", the blend of loudness and SQ is awsome. I plan on doing a build with 4 of these.
