if you love bass, you'll love these
i had always heard good things about ma audio, so i decided to install two of these in my new system. and wow was i blown away..i have these inverted, to show off the awesome chrome baskets, and they still pound. with two of them bridged, each getting about 500 watts rms i've hit 142.3. needless to say impressive. i'm only getting rid of them because i'm upgrading to the 15's.

This sub pounds, simple as that. I haven't even heard its true potential yet. I have a hatchback box and it wouldn't fit in it so I had to invert it. I don't have a good amp yet either, I could only give it a 300w Kenwood amp and it hit pretty good, didn't quite get the lows, but for 300 watts it hit. We hooked it up in my friends car to a 500w rockford to try it out for a while and damn. Great sub.

i have just one in my pt cruiser in a slot ported box (which is the best type of box for any sub) a pyle pla 2200 (1400w amp) and a rockford fosgate cap which can handle 1000w. this is the best system i've ever had. wish i did have a better amp to push the sub to it's full ability though. with the cheap amp and all the other stuff, it's still bows the back window a bit! only one problem with the sub------ i've had to reglue the center cap back on it.

This is a really nice woofer. I'm pushing it with 800 watts, and it still has no distrotion even at really high volumes. Handles the lows fairly well, although it could be better. Overall, very nice sub. Good step up from mid-level woofers. Still very nice.

I recently purchased two of these bad boys hooked up to a hifonics 1200 watt amp. good lord do they pound my little GTI. The highest of high bass notes and the bone shattering lows. For sure go ported with MA Audios! These things nearly scare me and I'm still just breaking them in! (bass remote currently set to 0) It's a real steal; I was sketched out at first but it turned out to be a godly set up. I recommend these puppies to anyone who wants serious power for their car at a price anyone could afford.

found this helpful.i just bought 2 of these and man do they put out some power. a sealed box will work great with them. i made one myself and it looks and sounds great. dont let the price fool you. the only mistake i made which i will probably regret was buying a 650 watt amp instead of maybe a 550 or 600 watt. as long as you get the right amp it will definitely be worth buying these.

Just hooked 2 of these up in a friends single cab truck on a 1200W amp and man they pound. Great sub packs a real punch. Well worth your money.

Finally a sub that takes what I give it. I listen to both rock and rap, although the bass isnt great with every songs (some rock I wish I had 10's, rap 15's) this has been the best sub I ever owned. I think I'm pushing 800 RMS to it, have a 1.2 farad cap, 105 amp alt. and plan on buying a bigger battery. Just a heads up for you do-it-yourselfers. Great price, great sub!
