Description

Sometimes the crossovers built into car audio amplifiers don't offer the flexibility needed to properly tune and complete an installation. The cex solves this problem.

The cex can be used in a variety of configurations from a simple 2-way system to a complex 3-way with full bandpass capability. The cex can also be used in a traditional front highpass, rear highpass and lowpass subwoofer system.

The input adjust of the cex is extremely flexible. If your source unit only has one pair of RCA outputs select the combine switch to on and the Sub Input switch to Int and all pairs of outputs will have signal. If your unit has front and rear RCA outputs select the combine switch to off and the Sub Input switch to Int. For source units with front, rear and subwoofer RCA outputs select combine off and Sub Input to Ext.

The included remote subwoofer level control allows you to adjust the subwoofer output to your specific taste from the front of the vehicle. This is convenient for those who like to make adjustment on the go.

Cache CEX Crossover

The CEX crossover by Cache is a unique and very well designed crossover. It has quite a few features which allow nearly any system to perform its best. The hi 8V output ensures noise from signal transmission between the HU, the crossover, and finally the amplifiers. The CEX has a beautiful anodized finish without all of the flash of lesser crossovers. Gain and crossover points are accurate and positioned where they should be. Though the name may not be familiar to most, the performance is second to none! We bought this to compliment our Cache CBR bass restoration processor and it fits in perfectly. Installation was a breeze, and the bright blue LED, which shows the unit is working, was a nice touch.

Cache Cex

Fast shipment, I am very impressed for the money and the build. It has good sound. I am able to control the frequencies better than from my digital headunit. It cleaned up my competetion system a little more with better control of the direction of the frequencies. I also ordered their bass reconstruction unit too. Will give heads up on that also.
