Wow, very impressed!
I was a little worried about how this sub would perform but when holed up to one of the new Alpine 500 watt amps in the back of a Nissan 4x4 crewcab Frontier I was blown away. The mids and base on this platform are perfect for this application. It's not overly intrusive, something I was trying to avoid, it's a good jump from factory top aftermarket. No crazy bass but enough to boom you out

Holy balogna! For such a small package this thing really fills in the low end and brings some serious punch! I have one hooked up in the back of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. It takes up virtually no space (I have it wrapped up in a black pillow case as I am paranoid of people seeing it). I was hesitant that I would hear much of a difference due to it being so small. But seriously, this thing has really impressed! Bends perfectly with my polk mm6501 components and brings the low end i had been missing. Excellent purchase for those looking for a compact solution. For what I was looking for, I think two would be over-kill.

I've only had this installed for a few days now so I'm still getting a feel for it but so far it is very impressive for it's size. It is in my 2008 regular cab Toyota tundra. I have it running bridged off the two rear channels of a Alpine PDX F4 amp. Because this amp and lots of others is not 2-ohm stable bridged I had to pull the sub out of the box and reconfigure the jumpers to be wired in series for an 8 ohm load. It would be nice if Alpine offered this package loaded with a SWR-823D driver so you could get a final impedence of 4 ohms bridged, but they don't. Regaurdless, this little slugger does alright at 8 ohms with about 250w. One other thing to consider is if you are going to power it with an amp that does not offer a subsonic filter (like mine) I would strongly suggest you get some 30 hz inline high pass filters before your amp like the fmods. You don't want this thing bottoming out below 30 hz. Overall I'm happy. For a ported enclosure it comes across very musical and tight unlike many others that just sound loose and sloppy. I'm surprised there is not more feedback or reviews on the Web which is exactly why I put this up.

So i bought this sub because i wanted something with a box, man this type r hits hard, i dont know how far people can hear it but they can because im like 20 feet away and they turn around, so if people turn around then you know it has some knock to it. This sub is great for someone who is looking for some bass that does not require a lot of power or room. The sub barely flexes its muscle and it sounds great, i think im starting to be a fan of alpine since im just starting out my system.

I have 2 of these in the spare tire well of a 2013 Mazda CX-5 hidden under the rear floor. It's like these were made to fit there, I get great sound and keep all my trunk space. In case of flats I have a small compressor and tire plugs with me. Back to the sub, I have 2 of them running paralell on a Polk PA D5000.5 subwoofer channel at 1ohm the amp puts out 500w so I'm running 250w each with the subsonic filter around 28hz. They sound great down to about 28hz but will bottom out at higher volumes below that. Before these I had a MB Quart 12" in a sealed box and these are just as loud but have better SQ. If you want people to hear you 2 blocks away go with something bigger but if you want a small stealthy subwoofer that doesn't take up your entire trunk this one is awesome. Build quality is great and I have had zero problems from them so far. They sound great with all types of music, especially fast rock music (Yes they keep up with double kick drums). Source is from the OEM radio running through an Audiocontrol LC6i then to the amp and it sounds clean with focal components in the front and coaxes in the rear.
