Make Sure You Have Everything You Need!Nearly all cars require an immobilizer bypass to add a remote start system. Click here to add one to your order! |
Start your engine with the push of a button from up to 3000ft from your vehicle. The Cool Start& RS-4G2 system is a 1-Way remote start system that uses two ultra-compact extended range 4-button transmitters to operate. The transmitters have a protective sliding cover over the buttons to prevent accidental button pressing while in your pocket. Keyless entry and trunk pop are included with this system as well as auto locking with ignition. Other features include: 2-Way data port, tachometer sensing, anti-grind and horn honk.
Remote Start
Allows a vehicles engine to activate without physical contact from the user. This feature is useful for warming up your vehicles engine and transmission to operational temperatures. In cold climates you can have your interior hot or in warm climates you can cool it down before use. All of this can be done while in the comfort of your home or office.
Keyless Entry
Performs lock and unlock tasks without physical contact with the vehicle. Power door locks can be controlled from several feet away or even within a building using a remote fob. The fob emits a radio frequency that is digitally encoded to prevent frequency stealing so no one can enter into your vehicle without your wireless transmitter.

Great product
Pros:
Programmable for many different options
Inexpensive
Comes with two remotes
Includes LED status light
Cons:
Requires additional relays for some power door lock applications and for the starter bypass feature
Poor signal strength (if you hide the antenna) (strength may be better if you just stick the antenna to the windshield like they want you to, but who wants an antenna in the middle of their windshield?)
Note: Installation is not that difficult if you know what you are doing. If you have never done anything like this before, I would suggest you take it to a shop.
