The XX series are the newest edition to a high-end woofer collection from RE Audio. This woofer borrows a lot the same features as the infamous XXX subwoofer, but for a much more affordable price!
The XX subwoofers use a dual composite 2-piece cone, and a rubber surround. They are housed in a cast aluminum basket and still use the 3” 8-Layer Aluminum Flat Wire Voice Coil that you find the flagship XXX. The XX woofers can be found in 12”, 15”, and 18” sizes, and both dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm configurations.
All of the XX subwoofers can handle 1500 watts of RMS power. The XX line-up shares many characteristics with the XXX. In fact, the main feature that separates the XX and the XXX is the magnet size. The XX woofers still use a very large magnet, however.

Beeeeeast !!!!!
These subs are no joke. Got a 2500 Rockford bdcp wired to 1 ohm had to get a high output alternator just to keep up with the power. Got 2 of these in a huge ported box built from the ground up and these things will knock you in tomorrow. My box is tuned to about 27 htz and im devouring the lows like no other. Upgraded from 2 l7 15s and they beat but I've tapped into another dimension with these. These 18s get nasty low and im still banging for Jesus. RE audio ships there subs with quality and when I brought these subs to the audio shop everybody's mouth dropped because of the size of this subwoofer. One of the guys that were there said "You gon killem" lol. Im doing around 3248 rms and they can take more. Thanks sonic electronics for the good deal you gave me.
