With the HED Series Cerwin Vega speakers, you're choosing sound quality that will give you many years of listening enjoyment. These 6-1/2" speakers are made from high quality parts that shape the way you hear your music. Specially formulated rubber surrounds are designed to impose very little restriction of the con'es movement. The polypropylene cone design is very light yet incredibly dense, allowing the cone to withstand various changes in direction speed without deformation. A mylar composite tweeter achieves a very clear and accurate high frequency band even at maximum output levels. If you're looking for quality at a price you can afford, look into the HED Series by the one and only Cerwin Vega.

Great sounding!
I had these installed in my 2008 Subaru Outback to replace the factory speakers (factory H.U. with a 300W x 2 Amp currently set at 60W x 2) and they sound great! Huge upgrade over the factory speakers. Highly recommended.

Took a flyer on these since I like Cerwin Vega products and the only two reviews on this set I could find were 5star. The price was so low, I was not expecting a whole lot, but I am really pleased! Nice sturdy construction, decent sized magnet on the woofer, crossover network looks to be pretty robust, good mounting hardware for the tweeter, and most importantly, the sound is great. Full, loud, a lot of bass for a comp set, tweeter is a tad bright but that's easy to adjust on the HU. I'm just very happy with this purchase - much better than some more expensive, mid-priced Kickers and Kenwoods I've used in the past. I have these in a 2002 Maxima, running off an alpine MRP-F300 at 50wpc, with an Alpine CDE-147BT source. Still lots of breaking in and tweaking to do, but for straight out of the box, I'm very impressed. Good job CV.
