Good Box

Great box does well with my subs would buy again

Heavy Duty!

I would recommend this product for the guy's out there that are serious about their music. If you got good, high quality subs, then this box will make them perform to your sub's max output with out worry of blowing up your box.

This wire is very flexible and fit nicely in my 2000 nissan maxima. ring terminals were a little fussy, but that was operator error. very nice 150 amp fuse. Lots of wire crammed into it. Very inexpensive for the quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade.

product worked for my new hifonics subs. that will be a winter system for my ride so i don't have to keep my main subs in all year round. i really like it mostly because its has black carpeting.

The Box that Rocks

Appears to be fairly well built. Arrived with a little dent and a tear but its too little to bother with. Sounds nice but doesn't hit as deep as I would have liked. Small size however, leaves me some room for a couple of bags of groceries. Three stars for durability since I've only owned this for about a month.

Amazing Enclosure, Even Better Price.

Ordered this as my first enclosure, put two 12" subs in it and I haven't found a box that hits as hard and as clean as this one has. Will definitely buy from SonicElectronix again for my car audio needs.

Fast and easy great buy

I got my complete set up: 12" kicker subs box 1000watt Mbquart amp and amp kit. I have always installed my own equipment, I found it helpful that they have videos that covered some of the product they carry. There are a few shop's in Texas like Best buy and Custom Sounds that offer equipment. But the professionalism of the knowledgeable staff the price and the reliability made it clear that I wanted to do business with them.

solid sealed box!!!

Cant beat the price. But it is really very good box. I put two 12" hifonic,also bought from here, with a 2 channel 1000 watt amp.It really shook my rearview mirror in my '97 towncar. My brother loved it so we put it in his '92 prelude.Wow!!! You can hear him before you see him. Great buy!!!

Its a box

have kicker 12, they sound alright have some loose paneling in my car, so I'm having trouble getting the clarity I want. over all its a box and it works.

Decent Amp Kit

I am a professional installer first of and my father is an electrician. Following the AWG- American Wire Gauge standards this is not 1/0 wire it's closer to 2AWG, please understand that true 1/0AWG copper wire will cost around $5-8 a foot.

That being said for the price it is an amazing kit but should be marketed as 2AWG.

When compare to Kicker and Memphis true to spec 1/0AWG wire there is a major difference in size and weigh over all. 5 feet of Memphis 1/0 Wire weigh the same as 17 feet of Belva 1/0AWG.

Good product, they give you plenty of length. Only complaint is that the o connectors are really hard to clamp down and the rcas are kinda cheesey but work

I have never ran 0 gauge before and when I got it and took it out I was surprised but the big wire didn't really hurt the install it is still hidden under the carpet and it's thick and flexible so it was easy to run through the firewall. Now I'm gonna get the Belva big 3

I just got 2 of these an I was thinking that they wouldn't be all that great but Ive owned kicker 12's and SPL 10's but these are the best. I've never had speakers over heat a 1000 watt amp but these did their a great sub for a cheap price but my advice is get a amp that can push them

I have seen some bad reviews for BOSS subs. I was very worried about how they would sound once i got them.
Don't be fooled!
These subs are amazing! No need to go spend 400 bucks on some alpine subs when you can get these from Sonic for $64.

I am using a P8002 Fosgate amp running 2ohm at just under 600rms, they hit so hard i am afraid to turn it up all they way with my doors shut for fear of shattering a window in my 96' Honda civic.

I have these 2 babies hooked up to a 3000w phantom boss amp and with these you have to get glass windows that can handle the bass and not shatter. These subs are what you want to get. They're cheep and powerful. Boss is a great product!!

I bought this sub worried it was just a cheap old sub but man let me tell you this thing is ridiculous I got 2 of these in my 84 Camaro in a custom box these things hit so hard I got them hooked up to a alpine 1000watt amp its amazing the hit so hard and shake my car people can hear me coming.

Great Box

I ordered this for 2 crunch gpv's about six months ago because I didn't have the tools to properly build my own box. After six months this box is still holding up and works perfect with my subs.

Not so great !

I bought these speakers put them in a sealed box to specs. With a 1800 watt RMS mono amp wired to 1 ohm the amp was turned not even half way up and they both blew in 2 weeks tops. So if you have a great amp get a different speaker. I don't believe Boss is telling the truth about their rms. My not so great p2's hit harder and thats bull.

Awesome "BANG" for your buck

I am on a budget, like most of us. I needed a nice looking box for a reasonable price. For $52.00 you can't beat it.
I loaded my 2 12" Alpine TypeS subwoofers in it. Mounted my amp to the back and they are still going strong.

Solid Box

Ok so I bought this box because I wanted a quick sealed enclosure for my 2 JL W3's. The box is made pretty solid, true 3/4 MDF but the caulk job on the inside was kind of off but that's nitpicking. Haha after 3 weeks though of pushing my W3s the top of the box is leaking air. So not the best made but definitely a good pre fab and pretty cheap. Can't really complain. It is nailed together tho so yea..

It's a box without a hole

Solid sealed enclosure. Two of them barely fit in the back of my 02 Focus SVT 3 door. The binding posts are cheap, I tightened them as I would other posts but one out of eight wouldn't tighten because the thread tolerance is poor and it acts like its stripped, I can get some pressure on the wire but I worry it will come loose. Probably worth spending a little more money on a better enclosure but it works fine if you're on a budget.

very good sub box

The box is very good at 1.25 cubic feet. I'm running 2 12's with 800 watts rms and it hasn't shattered. Wish it was 1.35 cubic to accommodate for subwoofer basket displacement but it still makes makes subs hit ridiculously hard. Polyfill helps make the box seem bigger due to mechanics and the "Q" point. I really couldn't be happier!

this box is deferentially cheap but i put my 2 kicker comp 12's in there makes the sound good but i am thinking of getting a ported box soon, box is made with good material and i like it have it wired down to 2 ohms its sound good

great amp kit

The power wire is real thick, looks like a great amp kit, Rca cables look awesome. Only thing that would make this amp kit better would be to include speaker wire. Crimp terminals are a bit hard to install
But over all great amp kit.

WOW Great Quality

I purchaced your Dual 12" sealed sub enclosure and added two Alpine R's and fosgate 1000w amp and WOW does not even come close, it Rocks. The quality of the box is really really impresive. The carpet in not the junk material I've seen in my other buddies combo's.

Dual 12" 3/4" MDF Sealed Subwoofer Enclosure

If you are looking for a quality made box this is it !! I was very impressed with this box the moment I opened it.

The WOW factor was at least a 10.5 on the 1 to 10 scale. I WILL BUY AGAIN .

This enclosure is a well built enclosure for sq applications. I purchaced to house 2 CV vmax 122 drivers and the sound quality was almost rubbery? not tinny, never a crackle....fluid almost..... call it a well dampened sound with minimal distortion. just clean bass all the way into the 20s. made sounds i diddnt know existed. if you dont care how your music sounds and just looking for loud, look elsewhere. my only complaint, 11" cutout is too small for the vmax and the black carpet is difficult to follow a line with the router.

Great Sound!

i have 2- 12 inch Memphis audio 15-M3124D's in this box each putting out 2000 watts max hooked up to a MA audio HK10KA amp rated at 10,000 watts max. i have the subs bridged and it has way too much power going to them but the box still stands up. i would recommend that when you install your subs that you put some sort of foam stripping underneath the lip so when you screw it down you wont have and leaks at all.

Sleak, Sexy, Soundiful!

Its cheap, in price. Yeah, we see that. But let your worries go to rest, this is a GREAT BOX. Its well made, and put together great. Although they did use nails instead of screws, if you know what your doing, it won't slow you down. I have 2 12" Kickers in this baby, and pounds like a mofo.

Get this box. You won't be disappointed.

Great box

Runs 2 Rockford Punchs in and no air leaks and bass is clear as hell. Any 12 would sound great in this box, would buy again if it ever goes bad.

A little trouble at first...

The whole was no the size it said it was. I happen to be a part-time handy man so I had a circular sander and was able to make the whoel bigger. Took about an extra 20 mins of work to mount the subs, but overall everythign worked out. No complaints about box. It is doing it's thing!

good cheap starter box

i bought this box about a year ago for 2 of my infinity reference 1260w subwoofers. I have two more in a ported box. im pushing 350w to all 4 and I have to say I like this box more than the ported. you feel it more in the sealed box but lose a little on the db's but its worth it. the box is sturdy and hasn't showed wear a bit. its tuned in the lower 40's so you wont get stupid low with it but can get loud. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget or to lazy to build their own box. it comes with polyfill which is a bonus, the terminals on the back need calked but that's with about any box you buy. overall I like it and would buy again if I had to.

The kit is good has mostly everything you need
, although I recommend getting a longer ground wire due to it being short , only downfall other then that great kit for a sub amp n other amp install worked great for my sub amp and 4chanell although I needed a few more wires for adding the second one

IT IS A GOOD KIT FOR THE MONEY. THE TERMINALS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THEY COULD HAVE SUPPLIED BETTER 0/1 GUAGE TERMINALS THAT WERE EASIER TO USE BUT STILL A GOOD PRODUCT.

This is a very heavy duty amp kit. The wire is huge compared to other brands I've used in the past. It's flexible and easy to install. And it's really a lot cheaper priced than other top brands. The fuse holder is nice too and I like the color of RCAs. Like everything with Sonic, always fast shipping and great stuff.

ok so far

Installed this weekend, I did add a couple pounds of "pillow stuffing" since the box was a tad smaller then what I needed. I have noticed some flex already but im not suprised with the subs that are in it. I will add triangle shaped gussets and some "trim screw" to try and hold things together.

A sheet of real MDF (not the cheap underlayment) is $32, carpet and glue around $15 so for what they want for this its a good deal that just needs some minor tweaks.

Not much else to say besides great product. Shipped in only 3 days, and the pre-done polyfill is a great touch. My only comlaint would be that my car smelled like glue for a few days after I put this box in, but that's just nit-picking. Will definitely order boxes from Sonic in the future!

Sub Enclosure Review

Perfect size to fit my Infinity subs. Wish it came with mounting feet but can't ask for everything. Quality is legit for the price. Just your average rectangular box. Fit in the trunk of my 240sx which is pretty small.

GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

This box looked great and felt very durable. My subwoofers wouldnt fit at first so I had to do some shaving, NO PROB. It sounded good for awhile and I loved it. After about two weeks, it lost its sound, went to check out the problem the whole front of the box had almost came off, Box was sealed very well, too bad they used nails instead of screws, would have been a very good box.

Great box

This is a great box. I prefer ported but my trunk is too small for it so I had to go with sealed. I'm still happy though. This had the perfect size for my 12s. Also the measurements are a little off. The box is a little bigger that the description said.

not what u expect

I would not recommend this product because. It I only a little bit bigger than four gauge. I do not know how they market this product as zero gauge. Next time I just have to spend the extra couple of bucks.

This is a great sub woofer box for the price it is heavy 41 pounds and it is sturdy. I have 2 12 kickers 600 rms 1500 peak and they sound great in this box hits lows and highs hard. I would say to any one buy it.

Okay Box

had to trim the 12" hole for my Sound stream PCO.12 subs they wouldn't fit at all. once I trimmed the MDF I love this box. they could have used spring term instead of screw though.

Budget amp kit *thumbs up*

This is a good quality budget amp kit. Power wire is almost true size and soft and flexible. Everything was exactly as described and no issues at all getting my system installed with this kit. The twisted pair rcas are nice and I have no noise pickup with them. There was even enough power wire left over for me to grab a few extra ends and do the big 3. Definitely recommend.

Great price for this box, very reliable. I put 2 lanzar 15s in here and they sound great, would highly recommend buying this and not wasting more money on a more expensive box

Great Budget kit, with a few shortcomings.

Overall this was a very good kit, with thick high quality wiring and heavy insulation. I saw no factory flaws, and since installing it I have had no problems. It did however lack a few things, which bugged me. The first was that neither: the ground, nor the power cable came pre-clamped, this wasn't a huge deal as I had access to a vice, but for those with limited tools, they may have trouble creating enough leverage to cramp the metal ends tight enough. Other then Having to clamp the ends myself (again, only an annoyance if you don't have access to good tools) the kit has performed flawlessly, and is a great value for the price.

nice & clean

I replaced my old box with this 1 & man what a difference. My old box was 11 years old & I didn't realize it was falling apart & with this new box I noticed an instant difference. Its a great box for the price, it holds firm & can handle the full pressure of 1100 RMS

I did have to spray a little adhesive inside for 1 part of the foam & terminals were screwed in & not exactly straight & I also had to poke holes in the foam for wires but these things are no problem. The box is awesome & I will by more in the future

Good Wire

I was skeptical about buying this wire, but to be honest it is definitely worth the money. I would invest in some new RCA's though, the ones that come in this kit aren't that good!

It's tough to build a box for the price you can buy one of these. They are solid. I haven't had any issues with mine.

This is an awesome enclosure. The price is very competitive as well. I am running 2 Rockford Fosgate R2D2-12 and there is no distortion at all. It is a very tight, clear sound. I highly recommended for anyone looking for a high quality low cost setup.

Good Sub Box

I like it, I think the covering looked good but I ended up messing it up trying to screw something into the outside. Otherwise i liked the box, my subs hit good in it.

This box is designed well. It is assembled, sealed, and carpeted very well. Speaker terminals are nice inside and out. Couldnt be any happier with this enclosure. Will use box with various subs.

best box 4 the buck

Don't let the skimpy price fool you. This box is made very well and it's ready to go. The joints are already caulked and glued - so there is nothing more to do than mount you speaker.

It's not MDF(medium density fiberboard) like all the others, it is made from HDF; high density fiberboard. HDF boxes are typically stronger, stiffer, and lighter than MDF enclosures. The box does not require any additional bracing because of its density. It has a high an undetectable high frequency resonance and doesn't color the sound of your bass with unwanted buzzing or flexing. The HDF box is lighter than MDF because it has smaller fibers that when pressed and heated require less glue and resin to bind the fibers together.

The speaker terminals are screw type gold plated binding posts that will hold 12 g speaker wire easily. They screw into the enclosure for added strength and a tighter seal.

Just make sure that you do your math and pick the right sub for the cubic feet and stuff with poly fiber fill.

Hifonics BRX2000.1D Brutus Mono block and pure awesomeness. The box makes these subs slam. Highly recommend this box

It is a typical wiring kit for a system. It is a little short in my 03 suburban, so I just mount the amps under my sets directly behind the drivers seat.

Worried from reviews...

Well basically i was doing a system on a budget, who wouldn't try this sub? but with reading some reviews i was worried about it just going bad on me. To be honest, i bet the people that it didnt work properly for underpowered it. I purposely waited 6 months to write a review to make it an honest one. Ive been pounding this sub with a 3000 watt amp, just under max, so roughly 2500 watts max to this thing. it kept pounding away. It actually still is, im just waiting on getting my amp back because my amp went before this sub did. So power it like it says, because its been taking it for 6 months for me.

Extremely well built

Insanely well built box.

Carpet job is top notch, Good quality carpet stretched perfectly over the box. All joints are glued and caulked well. theres no need for extra bracing here but you may add some 2x4's to reduce the airspace if needed. The gold push terminals are well sealed in place.

Hits low and hard with all sub's I've thrown at it (JL Audio 12W04's, Rockford Fosgate P312D4's, Kicker CVX12's and finally Alpine SWX-1242D's)

Don't be afraid of the price. It's a perfect price for a box of this caliber. Would recommend it to anyone.

Tuff Stuff

Nice heavy, good sounding box. I would reccomend putting some polyfil to "cushion" the backfire of the subwoofer, really helps w/any sealed box and totally makes a valuable difference considering it only costs about 5-10$ more. The box itself is well sealed and well made, the connectors on the inside and out are really easy to use and once connected your wires will stay put.

Give it a try

Boss products seem to me to be a gamble everytime you buy them. You could get an awesome, cool looking product or something that will find its way to the trash in 4-6 months. I gambled and lost the hand but im not very good at gambling. I dont think im gonna invest in boss products in the future but that doesnt mean you shouldnt. It's your gamble.

great quality

Wow! Nicely sounding / high quality bass with the correct adjustment for the intended sound. Never have a problem at any volume if adjusted volume first, then add the corresponding lows.

Good for the money

Bought this kit because of cost. Fuse holder is of good quality. RCA cable is nice. No noise. Plenty of remote wire for amps. Power and ground are very flexible. Wire gauge is a little smaller then zero gauge but not like some other kits. All the terminal connections are included. In the end, good product for the price.

I got two 12's in a ported box and they sound great!! I was impresed with these subs, for the bad reputation they got. With a ph4000.d its sound awesome, trust me. If you looking hard and cheap these bad boys will do the job.

this is a solid box

when i bought this box i wasnt really expecting much, because of the price an all but when i put my rockford fosgates's in it, it did sound great, and let me tell you im gettin 2 12 alpine type r next and im for sure going to be getting this box again.

Your basic sealed box

Great box. Quality carpet job, all seams sealed correctly and well, and the terminals are strong and functional. Perfect basic box to make two twelve's hit perfectly. Just remember this is a sealed box, so it will have a differnet sound than that of a ported or bandpass box, but if u want a tighter hitting bass, this box if perfect.

Wire is great but terminals are hug

The wire is great and seems to be true 0 awg. However when going to crimp the open barrel ring terminals to it they are literally twice the size! Have to go buy new ring terminals that are the proper size.

Sounds awesome

I installed these in a SubThump box for 2013 silverado. powered by Rockford Fosgate R1200.1D amp at 1 ohm I like headroom so this setup works great.. They rock hard!!

I bought 4 of the and have them in 2 ported boxes breaking in at 4 ohms off a PA OVN-1 5500 watt amp pushing 1700 RMS and it sounds like 4 fat people wrestling in the back of my 89 blazer. I've been told I can be heard from 3 blocks away. I can wait I wire them at 2 ohms and really slap on everyone in the town.

Amazingly good sub

When I ordered 2 of these 12" subwoofers I expected them to be like a cheap subwoofer just to throw in my truck.
But for the price you pay.. Wow are they good! Even with a terrible box i built to throw them in they still would move my back window when I played the lows!
I recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to pay a ton but still wants to be heard!

I've been using this kit for about a while and the products are still in great shape. using it to power my audiopipe 3000.1D amp and two american bass xfl 15"s. wire in never hot. flexible. but the wire easily spreads apart for the cut tip/end if your not being careful and makes installing into amp/fuse box, etc ... more difficult.

These subs are awesome! I bought one of these and put it in a ported box and it made my chest pound! I loved it so much that i bought a second one and now it almost makes me ears bleed and vibrates everything in my car! Not understanding

I had one of these subs wired up how a guy that runs in stereo competitions recommended me to to my amp that was rated half of one of these subs, and its been in for about a week and the coils are starting go. If these subs are rated at what they are or somewhere close I don't understand how this amp is pushing them hard enough to fry the voice coils. My amp is rated 1200 watts max and 500 watts X 1 RMS into 4 ohms.

dont get just one. if you want to bump, get two in a ported box. i made the mistake of just buying one, thinking that it would put out 1000 watts. it only puts out like 250, possibly. but for 50 bucks!? this product is a comeup, but do not expect the power ratings given will live up to the hype. if you want a cheap setup, two should be fine. but not one!!

not too bad

I bought this sub because I was on a tight budget. I didn't expect much but I put this thing in a 1.3 cubic foot box ported tuned to 38 hz and it pounds. the sound quality is awful but hey its only 65 bucks. it is definitely not even close to the rms it says it can handle. I can smell the voice coils burning with about 450 RMS. Good sub for the price tho. in a trunk i think this would sound fine but not so much in an suv like i have the sound quality just isnt there. if your looking for some bass and dont have much money buy this thing but i dont recomend running over 500 rms to it.

Great Sound!

I bought 3 of these for my MDF triple 12" sub box. They sound great! You cant beat them for the price. Also, the dual voice coils give tons of flexibility when wiring them to a high wattage amp. I would recommend these to friends.

Installed this wiring kit three weeks ago, very nice quality 1/0 gauge! Works great! Ended up buying some screw ring 1/0 gauge terminals because the crimp terminals it came with are a bit difficult to install. Other than that, very good product!

Terrible Sub

when i ordered this sub i figured that it would be great, once the installation was complete, they sounded great, they are for sure not gonna hold 1150 RMS. wayyy over rated. they got hot on me alot and i was only pushing 450 watts to each one. after about 2 weeks of playing them, they finally started smoking really bad and burnt them. the warranty replaced them but the next set did the exact same thing. looking at the price, i should of known that it wasnt worth it.

These subs sound great and look great u can hear my van way before you see it surprisingly the decibals don't go down when dropped to two ohms each would recommend lanzar 4000 watt two channel amp that's what I'm pushing them with and if they sound this great in a van one could only imagine in a car.

bought two of these hooked up to a 2200 rms at 1ohm amp and instantly voice coils started smoking like cheech and chong. im gonna experiment with the lower ohms and see what i can figure out.

Ive owned this sub for 6 months. Its great for the price but i don't recommended running it at 1150w. I have one of these subs hooked up to a 800w rms amp thats properly tuned and i smell burning every now and then. No smoke but a mild burning.

So far i would totally recommend these to anyone looking for some good cheap subs. i have them in a custom made sealed box , with a 500 watt amp right now , handles the amp great and sounds good to me , first pair of subs ive had , but still sound good. terminals on the speaker are great. durability looks kinda iffy, but it was a 60 dollar sub. im ordering a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D and hopefully all will go well.

This sub bumps!

This speaker is worth the cash! Put it in one of its recommended enclosures and 800 W is sufficient to produce overpowering bass. The woofer is light so it doesn't create much rattle, but certainly makes plenty of SPL. 3 of these will make any ride bounce!

OK for starters

I bought a pair of these, and i hooked them up to 2 JBL grand touring amps puting out about 750rms each and these subs blew in like 3 or 4 days, but i will admit they sounded good while they lasted, only recommending if you have a not so good amp.

blew out window accedently

I have 2 12" DVC boss subs powered by a boss 3500 watt 2 ch amp and I accedently blew out the two small side Windows on my car when I was tuning them. So if you like bass to the 12th degree get these.

Unreal - Had for 6 months

I wrote a review on the day I got the subwoofer installed so this is my follow up. I am still astonished by this sub every day that I use it. The bass is clear and unbelievably loud. There is zero rattle within the unit itself, and the trunk is dynamatted so that is quiet as well. I definitely recommend this sub to the average person who wants a head turning system. Obviously there are reviews about them blowing, overheating, etc. I've used my sub at a setting of - 4 on my head unit, and it is still unreal. Don't doubt Boss, it's worth it.

Hits those low notes real well, you wont be dissapointed, only problem was when they did not work after leaving my car outside in subzero weather, worked fine as soon as it heated up!

Good Sub for price a little overratted.

I think this is definately the best sub that Boss makes! I've had a couple other Boss subs which quickly blew up. This sub sounds nice but I don't think is near 1150 RMS. Around 500 RMS it sounds close to maxed out. I think it's worth the money though and it looks cool inside out.

i hooked two of these up to a 1 ohm loaad not even close to the 1150 rms each they say and they went up in smoke in five minutes burned up both i got these from a buddy who had them for six months no proplem butt he wasnt pushing that meny watts to them smoked with about 900 rms each they did sound good for that five minutes so im doing to get three this time and run a 2ohm load give them about 600 rms ill let you know

Well lets start with the facts they will not hold 1150 watts rms not even close on my second set the amp is a rockford 700s tried 750 on each no luck then 350 one each once again no luck. Yes they will warranty them but each time it cost me 20 dollars each speaker do the math if u r going to run any real rms get a better speaker. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

these speakers are the best, not only do they look sexy but they hit. for all of those idiot who said they smoked and blew soon afer hooking them up dont know what they are talking about. high quality speakers like these need time to break in before you go all out with them. they need a minimum of at least 3 weeks at half power or less or they will blow. if you give them time to break in, you'll have them rattling every house on the block for years to come. these are great speakers and i highly recommend them,

Slaps hard, no doubt, but after about 6 months one of the dual voice coils in one of the two that I own, 100% gave out. But it's under warranty :D

This must be a hidden gem among folks who want a boom in their system. Why spend 400 dollars on a sub when you can have this sub at 65 bucks. NO one is going know the difference when your on the road with these hitting vs the so called "higher name brands" like most folks have said they know people who spend 4k on subwoofers alone and then you put the same subs such as these in another friends car and they hit just as loud if not louder NO ONE knows the difference. I had bought 2 12's dvc at 4 ohms. I had them running at 2000watts at 2 ohms. They ran strong after I broke them in good. Nothing but bass mekanik for those real bass heads!! They held there own for 2 years, then one of them blew. The remaining one is still going strong ! They are more than capable, they can hit well below 25 hz playing bass mekanik. Great value at the working mans price!!

I have 2 of these. They are both in the same box with a divider. Each has 1.2 cubic feet of space. And the port for each is tuned to 25hz. I have them paralleled so they are at 2 ohms. I am using the Boss phantom 4000 watt class d mono block. I had to have dynamat installed to control the vibrations lol. It will vibrate people's windows and walls as i drive by.

I had 2 MA 1000w subs with a 1000w 2/1 channel Sony amp and i didnt think it could get any louder. I decided i needed to get some new subs due to the MA's wear and tear. I spent over a week looking at these subs and looking up reviews for them because boss doesnt have the best reputation, there were more good reviews then bad. I finally decided to take a chance and get them. Just installed them and have a brand new JVC stereo with 6 jenson speakers inside. I can't tell you how amazed I am with these subs they kick harder then both my MA's! Would recommend to anyone. Fantastic subs beats the expensive ones. Why need to get subs that cost an arm and a leg when you can get these and they are just as good! Hopefully this helps!

I have two of these subs in a custom built box that was built to spec being run by a Hifonics 1000 watt mono amp and they sound great and have never had any issues even at 1ohm.

Fantastic sub for a good price

I have one sub with a Kenwood KAC-8105D + Amplifier Kit
1000W Max, Class D Monoblock Performance Series Power Amplifier w/ 4 Gauge Amp Kit and I love my system. I have a Hyundai Tiburon and since it is a small vehicle you can feel the base. I have my base on negative 6 and my side mirrors move everytime a beat drops. People hear me coming down the block with my music not even loud. Word of advice, give it time to break it in!!! I am still breaking mine in and I had it for a month in a half, that is why my base is still set at negative 6.

Needs Power!

This subwoofer is a GREAT SUB!!! I was very skeptical because of the mixed reviews but im glad i stuck it out. This sub slams at 2ohm. I have a 2.0 cubic foot ported box and a 780 watt max pioneer amp and the amp can't even stably push this sub at 2 ohm it just kept cuttin out at high levels. So now I have it wired to 4 ohm. Which is still good. but from the short time I heard (and Felt!!) Her pound on 2 ohm it was amazing...My next investment will be a 1000 or 2000 watt amp. I'd say this subs sweet spot would be about 1000 or so watts at 2ohm for sure. Thats what I'm going for. Buy this sub you won't be let down for price it just cant be beat. Get her 1000 watts at 2ohms, a ported box, and you'll be set.

Boss P126DVC

Installed the Phantom P126DVC in my car yesterday and it is amazing. The construction feels top notch and it sounds great. I have it paired with a Kenwood KAC9301D amp and have it wired at 2 ohms. 72% power and it blows away my old Audiobahn 10in subs. I can't wait to upgrade my amp to something that will really make it pound. I very highly recommend this subwoofer to anyone.

Skeptical at first but...

I was a little hesitant buying these subs at first due to the fact that I was unable to find any T/S parameters for the subs and because there were very few reviews online. A sub with this high of a power rating for $50 usually means poor build quality and lots of distortion, but not so with these bad boys! The T/S parameters are listed in the manual that comes with the subs for system optimization, btw.

I decided to take a chance and purchase 2 of these subs to use in transmission line enclosures in my home theater system. Each of the lines uses a Crown amp (600W), a single sub driver (P126DVC), has an effective length of 12' and is tuned to 16hz. The heavy hitting (I mean HEAVY) power of these subs combined with the clarity and tuning of the transmission lines is utterly terrifying. These subwoofers generate so much slam, its unearthly.

I haven't tried these subs in a standard sealed or ported box, or in any auto application for that matter, but I can certainly speak for their ability to hit hard and command authority, even at low listening levels. I've also pushed these subs with 1000W RMS to test there power ratings, and if you have a well constructed box (and ears that can handle it), the P126DVC will keep up without issues.

Long story short, if you're feeling timid because of the low price and lack of reviews, rest assured. These drivers will not let you down.

I ran 2 of these subs in 2 sealed hatchback boxes in my ext cab chevy (rear firing behind each seat) running both off a phantom 5000 amp at 1ohm and they sound great! I ran the amp 1/4 of the way up and they pounded for over 6 months until i sold the system to my friend. He fried both subs by turning the amp up too high. If you are running a high quality amp like rockford, JL, etc, i would say each sub will really only handle about 500 rms. If im ever looking for another cheap set up, i will be buying these subs again. Sonic Electronix rocks!. buy these subs here you wont regret it. I only shop for audio here. Boss explosion

i am not sure what went wrong. I hooked up this sub to a 1200.1 brutus amp. after 30 sec to 1min of the sub going, somthing started to burn. smoke came out of the port and i have never used the sub since. i got an alpine swx12 and swapped the two just to see if its as Boss as people make it out to be....it wasnt. lol. oh well.

I have used 12in MA Audio xl's in my first car and my current car after the most recent MA audios finally blew. I was looking for something cheap until the new MA lineup comes out this summer. I'm using a Powerbass ASA1000D amplifier w/1000rms at 1ohm. Just wired them in yesterday and I'm suprised how hard they hit and it actually isn't just loud but it sounds good. These are perfect until I can get a hold of the new MA's. Oh and I've been using Sonicelectronix for 7 years and have never had a problem. They always have the cheapest prices and every product I've bought has been great.

What!? Let me turn down the subs!!!

Have two of these bad boys wired to 1 BOSS AR3000D... the amp can only power one sub at full strength. TRUST me one sub is enough don't buy two unless you are an ABSOLUTE bass head. just one sub and the amp mentioned above, bounced my rear view mirror off. I really want to buy another amp and run each sub separate to sees how much 2 can truly put out running full strength

Very good sub. Have 1 of them running 2 ohm, on the back channel of my Lanzar HTG447 amp, bridged. Am only giving it 350 RMS, and that thing kicks hard. Very good for the price.

Sounded good - for a little while

First of all, like you are, I read the reviews. I was skeptical for those that said they blew them, but wanted to believe those that said they were good. I also wanted to give Boss a chance. I've never bought cheap brands. I've always had Pioneer and Rockford Fosgate. I bought two of these. In two weeks, one is blown and the other is smoking on its last leg. I hooked them up to a Boss Phantom PH5000d. If you look the amp up, you'll probably think I overpowered them. Not the case. I had each speaker in series (gives 8 ohm) and the pair in parallel (gives 4 ohm). At 4 ohms, the amp puts out 1800 watts RMS total to the two speakers that should be able to handle 2300 watts RMS total - together (1150 each). Nonetheless, they are smoking and one is unresponsive.

For the three weeks that I had them, the sound was comparable to anything out there, and they hit hard! I custom built a single enclosure for each of these (1.8 cu ft ported and tuned to 38 Hz). I wish they would have lasted. If you want to blow money this month on nothing, buy two of these.

Lot of base sound at low price

Good purchase, produced more base than I expected, 2 x P126DVC on 2 x Boss amplifier (SE 450) and (CX800), 612ua receiver, 4xCh6530 speakers. Works great!

These are my first subs and i love them. They are loud and don't break your ear drums. Loud but great for the price. I'm sure there are better subs but you are going to have to pay a lot for them. If this is your first time buying subs like me buy these i got them when they where 65 but they are now 75 prob because they are good subs.

Very Impressed!

This sub surprised me so much! I have it powered by a Soundstorm EV1500M 1500W amp in a custom-built carbon fiber box. I originally put it in a cheap box that wasn't a good fit for the sub, but once I built my own box with a friend that was made specifically to the exact air volume and tuned properly to the sub, my life changed. For how inexpensive this sub is, it hits extremely hard! My friend even got one after I purchased mine, because he was so impressed! It hits the deep lows well, and sounds extremely good with bass rolls. Great sub!

Only $64 dollars a piece when I bought them. They can push air and will rumble your car. Don't do well with higher bass notes, so you have to settle for the price and quality but all around you will turn heads for minimum cash.

I just bought two of these and I have them hooked up to a Brutis Hifonics 1600 watt mono amp. So yes I have them wired down to one ohm. After having my amp turned at about half way and after seven days they both stopped working . I have never in my life seen speakers smoke before this was a first. Yea they sound great but in my opinion the rms is not true or they're not so durable. I will give them one more try cause they sounded great!! Maybe I should only turn my amp up a quarter way till they break in....lol

I bought these subs about 2 months ago a little scpetical, but i have 2 of these powered by an 800watt sony, and they blow me away. Overheats that little amp on a daily basis. next on the list is a bigger amp and 1 phantom.

just got this sub, hooked it to an alpine 650 rms x1, and it takes it well. Does get hot after 10 minutes of hard hitting, but you can't ask for a better value and if you take care of them it will last a good time. when the time comes i will get another, we will see how long it takes my abuses

the guys that wrote bad reviews , don't know what thier talking about . I have them in a my suv . I have them hooked up to a Power Acoustic D1-4000D:1 d -block amp . It's pushing 1200 @ 4 ohms and it pounds . i had them pluged wrong , but it pounded and smell like it was burnining . i pluged them right and they pound like heck . no more smell . plug them right guys and you'll really feel the bass.

Decent subs, definitely a gamble

Let me just say, the subs are way overrated. They will not hold 1150 RMS a piece. Pushing a pair of these at the max power will burn them out. I have 2 of these subs and they were great at first, sounded good, I was running a 1000W Class-D Interfire Amp on them and with the amp pushing 1000W to them, they could not hold the wattage, they sounded like they were gonna blow, but now running them around 600 RMS will be plenty of power. They distort really badly if u push them any harder than that. They are a gamble, what you pay for, is what you get.

Boss

This is a great sub to have if you play it right. When you first start playing the sub keep it easy for a few weeks until you burn the coils enough. After that you can play these babies all day long. They hit very hard and for the price they are unbeatable. I have 2 of these in my dodge truck and they make my roof flex and my toolbox rattle!!!

Good but over rated

I had 2 of these in a sealed box for about one month running on a Power Acoustik OVN1-4000D they were pretty loud but they were not getting the 1000rms each ther suppose.to handle. So I bought a Hifonics Brutus 2000d which actually produces true 2000w at 1 ohm off C******* and these subs blew in under 5 mins. They are extremely overrated and should only be given about 700rms each Max .

First Day Installed!

This is the first day that I've had my Boss sub installed in my car, and I must say, this thing POUNDS. I read mostly positive with some not so positive reviews about this subwoofer, but I will be a positive one, because this sub blew my mind... literally. I had 3 10" JL subs that cost a pretty penny, and this subwoofer beats them for shear loudness. I will write again if something goes wrong, but so far, so AWESOME.

Fantastic Sub Box

A very well-built and nicely carpeted sub box, that looks great, and should prove to be very durable, as it is constructed with 3/4" MDF instead of thinner material of many other boxes costing more than this.

The black carpet makes more of an impact than the typical gray carpet, and the 5-way binding posts are much higher quality than the typical plastic spring connections normally found on sub boxes.

Very happy with this purchase, and would absolutely consider another should it fit my needs of enclosure volume. (It's not worth the extra time/effort to make a custom box, when this does the job just as well, and comes pre-lined with poly-filled and pre-carpeted)

I have this bass in the recommended size sealed box running 4 ohms on each coil via the SPL GRLA2200/2. I have had this installation for half a year and it does it very well. It's not competition power, but it handles my everyday needs just great. I can recommend this to anyone who want's a good deal of bass and doesn't need the whole car to fall apart.
As additional info I will say that it is very important to break this unit in.

I have (2) 12" and (1) 10" hooked up in the trunk of my suzuki SX4 powered by a 2000w phantom amp and a 10 farad power cap. These things are just LOUD. Sturdy enclosure

This is a very well constructed box, well sealed and solid. However, mine arrived new in the box and every corner had the carpet worn off and bare wood showing. Also, mine was not lined with poly-fil and the terminal cups were on the sides rather than in the back as it appears in photos- no biggy but that did influence my decision as my install would have been a little "cleaner". All in all it sounds great and seems extremely durable.

Crazy!!

I installed two in my 2000 chevy extended cab with a custom sealed box i made my self hooked up to Boss CX750 (1600 watts) amp, my back glass is flexing half an inch both ways, and you can hear me more than a block away and i have had a few people tap out when they where in the cab. these things have a lot of bang for their buck!!

Decent sub

I have this sub hooked to a Kenwood KAC-8105D w/ 500 watts @ 2 ohms. Played a bass intensive song for three minutes and could smell the voice coils getting hot. There is no way this sub is 1150RMS when I am not even putting half of that to it and it's getting hot! It does hit hard at 500 watts though, but I would guess this sub is closer to 400 watts RMS. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Good Cheap Sub

I got two of these in a ported box tuned to 42Hz, and they are amazing (a lot better than my expectations,) and I haven't even pushed them to their limit yet. For a budget build, you can't beat these.
(I've only had them hooked up for a few days, so hope they don't blow any time soon.)

Great bang for my buck

I have to LMFAO at all those bad reviews bet they never realized 3 weeks. At lest before you go n turn up amp. Today is Aug 19. 3 weeks ago I bought n installed (DIY). My amp n remote were both turned to 2 gain will EVERYTHING ELSE was set 0. Yes at first could not hear it. But in long run worth it. By 5th day at 2 gain was raddling my mirrors. This sub hits hard as hell!! I have to remember sometimes that I didn't pay much for it because it sounds so good. I have it in an absolute ported box with an ssl 2500w max amp powering it with everything cranked up on the amp, and it sounds amazing. The sub lacks the ability to hit really low notes, but it rocks everything else. I think the sub is really hard to beat for the price.

To be perfectly honest, this speaker surprised me. I heard this and that about Boss products not good and being junk. I saw the watts and price of this speaker and decided to try. This sub sounds great in my SUV. I would recommend this sub for someone with a hatchback or a car. I wouldn't put this speaker in close proximity because when it's turned up the cone makes a weird sound like the cone isn't thick enough. Kind of a ( boy nnggggg) noise. But a perfect sub for truck or hatchback for the price!

I bought this to replace the Boss 1500 watt sub (which in my opinion is junk! I fried it trying to tune it!!!!!!!! lol) So I bought this sub, Good deal at 65 bucks free ship. I recommend researching your box before you buy one. I bought a box that had an air space that was within the 'range' listed on the subwoofer and it sounded ok in my ext truck. I think this sub would probably be more suited in an SUV, I sold it to a friend whos ext was slightly bigger than myne and it sounded pretty good.

They are great but...

They lasted few month because they cannot handle my monoblock that has 3200 rms. It's all about you need to tune the sound properly they will last more. They really blast all f**king neighbors every time you turn the sound on piss them off all you want but they will last less if you keep abuse that bad. They are great for whose keep it down and go easy on it. Thats it. Great price for max sound but wont last you more than 3 month. If you want max the number, keep look.

This is exactly what it says it is. I measured the wire itself at slightly over 3/8 inches. Which is exactly what 0gauge is. There are brands out there that are thicker, but they are oversized. Several companies make oversized power cables. But this IS true 0gauge.

This was already the best deal for a 3/4" MDF dual enclosure I could find, everything else in this range is 5/8".

For the price I wasn't expecting much.
However When it arrived found it is of good build quality, with decent carpet.

They already lined the inside with polyfil, more added value.

Then to top it off, found it has really nice gold plated screw type wire terminals. Better connection and added peace of mind that connections will not come undone.

This is probably the best deal/value on the internet for a dual 12 enclosure. Probably why it's backordered at time of this review.

This puts out about 1400 rms if your votage is up but overall good cheap amp i have it on 2 kicker 15's and they sound damn!!! Good.

It's a powerful amp, didnt keep it in long. Blew 2 of my solo baric L7's. I'm working on getting another set up and if it blows them im gonna get rid of it. All in all it does it's job.

Not bad

These amps are good but they are heavily over rated on rms! theres no way you would get a true 2000 watts rms for £150 in uk...lol i have the 4000rms autotek mm4000.1D which does more than the 4k its rated at and just over 2500rms at 4 ohm lol

There was alot of people doubting this amplifier I am here to tell you I am glad I went with my gut on this one. Because just as I thought this amp is super powerfull, it easily does the 2000 wrms. I am more than happy with this amp, I just hope the sub turns out to be good as well.

best amp i have owned

i have owned several amplifiers, and The Autotek Mean Machine M4000.1D is the best out of all of them. The other amps i have purchased were only 1000 watts and they were all overated, i was tired of that crap so i when to a 4000watt amplifier hoping i could get that watts i need. If you have the money get this amp it looks amazing and works great.

I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for deep sound and great base output. If installed properly you won't have a problem. Best amp I have ever owned. Pushing two 10" 4ohm dual voice coil Boss Subs 2100 watts each and they sound like two 15".

Great subs

I just bought them and installed them. Sound amazing and loud. My mom could hear them in the house. I got the beat to bass head stuck in my soul. The only thing was I had to buy speaker wire (50 feet 25 red, 25 black) and a new RCA cable. After tuning them they were perfect. Great value for price. Thank you SonicElectronix for fast delivery.

for the price not bad

This amp does maybe 1000 to 1100 watts I looked at the guts and it is similar to the AQ 1200D but insted of two medium sized transistors it has one big one I give the edge to the aq being the better amp so even though the aq is 40 dollars more fork up the dough and get the aq dude but for the money not bad not great either don't expect 2k from this amp you will get 1000 if that besides that not bad a bad amp

True power isn't what this amp says it is. But it still sounds good and punches extremely hard. Very satisfied with my two 10s and this amp working together to sound this good.

Great amp for the price

Super nice amp. Puts out a ton of power. I'm running a 15" Rockford t2 at 2 ohms and it hits rediculously hard. Best amp out there for the price and it's a great purchase for someone looking for big bass without the price tag. Highly reccomend. Have not had a single issue.

Pretty good for the price

I had this product for over a year now, i am currently running 2 of these along with 4 type R's and they hit good and clean. There are only 2 70 amp fuses on it so its around 2000rms but that's expected for a less known brand of amp. I would definitely suggest this to everyone. Ive used many other brands including Rockford at this same rating and you can tell the difference but for the price you cant beat it! - Bradley

The amp has power but not the power it claims. I have it one ohm mono on one 15" sub. Definitely not 4000 watts. I hate that crap.

Great Quality AMP

The reason i purchased this amp is because i previously had an Autotek amp that i had for about 10 years and it recently died on me. I thought to myself, an amp that last that long and still was pushing the woofers that i had. Matter of fact the amp blew 6 MA Audio 1000W 12's since i had the amp..so i figured why not go back to that product. Now i have the amp pushing my BOSS 2300W (1150RMS) 12 inch woofers (three 12's in a box) and it makes my woofers hit so hard that i have to re-wire the woofers at least every month because of the bass knocking them loose.

This is my second one as someone stole my first (haters) but it never let's me down my entire care vibrates. The backseat is screaming for help. I have it pushing two 15" Cvrs they pound hard.
