average quality headunite

this headunite has an average quality than the top of alpine headunite such as 9887,9835,9855,9815,....
good in low and midrange frequencies,but in high frequencies is weak.

awesome head unit.

I bought this head unit and was running and amp and 2 10s and this thing sounded so nice. ipod capabilities are why i bought it and i was more than satisfied. It's amazing having every song you listen to right at your finger tips. Artist scrolling can be a little slow if you need to get to an artist in the middle of the alphabet and you have a lot of artists, that's my only complaint really. it was money well spent. it was so nice, actually, that it was stolen right out of my car! :-(

Great head unit

I've had this unit for about 3 months. I love it. There are a ton of options. I like the motorized face when loading cd's. One of the best for the price.

Very nice head unit. Tons of features, some of which I still need to read up on. Comes with a nice remote. One that isn't so small that it gets lost everytime you put it down. Only thing is the pre out are only a 2V. wish they were 4. Sound quality is great. I highly recommend Alpine.

Alpine rocks!

This is my third alpine car stereo. They all have worked great, but I keep buying new cars. There's no question in my mind the power and sound quality is the best for the price. Plus they look so cool! I especially like the sirius satellite capability addition.

Great headunit

although i bought it for about 70 bucks more then what it is for on here it was definitely worth it the features like ipod connection and bass engine and WMA and MP3 playback really made it worth it the easy interface makes it nice to customize your headunit to your likings

nice head unit

this is the nicest head unit i've owned....I previously owned the sony mcdx-630 and this one has much more features mp3, wma, ipod connects.....all my cd's are done in mp3 now and it even reads the text on those.....excellent sound quality.....well worth the money

amazing headunit!

ive owned about 4 different headunits in my 2001 dodge stratus. this one by far is the nicest ive owned. the features on it are amazing. i paid a lot more than price offered here, but even at $280 well worth the money. nicest unit ive owned.

One of a Kind

i have this HU in my dads truck and its has to be the best looking HU i have owned. it has soo many features you can do jus about anyhting with this HU. i like the feature called tilt, you can move the faceplate a certain way so that you dont get a glare. well worth the money.
