Great Entry-Level Double Din Receiver

As the title suggests, this is a great headunit. Its loaded with useful features and they all function quite well. The Bluetooth functions are very detailed and it works very well, but synchronizing it with your phone may prove tedious. The unit also offers more Bluetooth options than stated, such as text notices & voice dialing. Otherwise, all other options set up relatively straight forward for anyone accustomed to aftermarket radios. The lay person should just spend 10 minutes fiddling with it to be familiarized. Sound is quite clear as expected from Alpine. Low end bass is not heavy in some ranges but again this is an entry-level unit. Standard non-subwoofer set-ups arent suppose to sound heavy anyways.
Some reviews may state the unit feels cheap, but I find that to be a misstatement. It just feels simple which is why this is a sub-$200 entry level headunit. For that price you will not find a better option to beat Alpine's long proven quality & durability. In short, if anyone on a budget is considering a double-din headunit, look no further!
