awesome 4''s for next to nothing
I bought the Audiobahn AS40Q to get away from the 4x6"s that I had in my 94 S10 Blazer. My old $40 pioneers from wal-mart sounded like crap compared to these audiobahns I paid a total of $33 for. I had to "custom engineer" some mounting plates for them to fit in my 4x6" openings, but it was worth it. I like the sound about as much as I liked the sound of the 4" JL Audio's I listened to at the local stereo store, but they were $90, and they are standard coaxials - the removable tweeters helps get the sound off the dash - a big plus. No contest for the price:performance ratio. Rubber surrounds, big 15oz magnets, and good overall construction - they'll probably take the sun beating down on the dash quite well.
