I'm a very happy man!
The Boss BV8850 is a wonderful unit. If I'm honest, I did have to send the first one back after it stopped working. So it was given a new faceplate (which was actually a positive experience as far as the customer service and fast turnaround).
But I love this unit. The screen is so big that it's just like watching TV and the sound is awesome. Soundwise, I often enjoy movies better in the car than in the house! The fact that I can take that faceplate off every night is real cool, as a deterrent to thieves. But Boss even went a step further. I didn't expect it, but when the faceplate is off, there's a red LED light that blinks like an alarm system would! Nice touch.
I recommend this unit to anyone that wants a decent sized screen but who needs to be able to take the face off for security.
