I was not sure what to expect from these as this was the first 4x10 type speakers I've ever purchased. In reading the reviews I took a chance and ordered them. I was not looking to spend any large amounts of money as these were going in a 1990 Chevy truck.
First time I started the radio these speakers sounded "ok" I do not have an amp hooked up to them yet I still had a certain expectation.
So after 3-4 uses one of the speakers has blown and sounds like crap. I have not turned the radio loud to cause any problems yet this is where I'm at.
So-long story short I would not recommend these - spend the extra money and get something more reliable - name brand worthy that will last.
